Dan made me feel every moment of doubt, grief, fear, and anger. Mr. Boyd is right, he'd do well on Broadway, but given that he sings so many different genres, I doubt if he'd want to limit himself.
Absolutely! Metal or not, this man is perfect for Broadway!!! Saw Jesus Christ Superstar many years ago on Broadway but this is light years beyond what I saw there. Dan is all around fantastic at anything he does!

I would have thought he is well recognised within the metal music community over there,,, he seems to be a regular guest at Luis Mariutti's workshops and has onstage guest appearances with performers like Edu Falaschi , plus his guest vocals on the latest Richardo Confessori number, "Where The Eagles Fly"...
I would give my left tit to see him live,,, probably the right one too,,, I think he is fabulous and deserves as much recognition as anyone else who can bring so much joy to the heart ❣️...

No need to apologize! Quite frankly, when you guys react to Dan, he won't copyright claim you, so I wish you'd play the entire video interruption free and give your opinions at the end. Dan is so much better without interruption, and one of only a handful of artists that I can listen to the same song multiple times and not get sick of it. Keep the Dan reactions coming!

His voice is perfectly suited for EVERYTHING. From what I've seen and heard, Dan has no longing to do personal appearances, though he has done, from time to time. I think he much prefers doing his own producing and publishing--he doesn't have to contend with anyone except his own decisions, etc., that way.

this is the first musical i took my kids to see on stage, i've seen it multiple times with Michael Crawford and Robert Guillaume,. I honestly think Dan does it best

Dan has so many great covers, it is hard to suggest any, but I would say: The last Goodbye from the Hobbit, Sleeping Sun, Heaven, Always, Nessun Dorma, Faithfully. Those are only a few that come to mind. And all the others already suggested are wonderful.

The Monet of music - Dan painted this masterpiece with EVERY single color on the palette - he masters every single color in the of pitch, from crescendo to deminuendo, to the finesse, placement, rhythm and pace of his vibrato.
And that's just the vocal delivery, which is only the half of it.
The other half is the embodiment and delivery of the story, the emotions, and the acting of the character, which he also does with excellence.
This is an incredible display of talent.

In Germany the musical "Tanz der Vampire" is very popular. He would smash it definetely. He belongs to the musical stage. My opinion. 😂❤❤
He does have an amazing voice and range. Let him sing the phone book. You don’t need to pause songs at all. Sometimes you just have to let the music flow and then go back and point out parts of interest. Especially with a performance like this.

Please react to Nessun Dorma from Puccini’s Turandot Italian opera. It will give you head to toe goosebumps. One of the most difficult opera songs for the male tenor voice and of course Dan makes it look effortless.

Dan Vasc is from Brazil, he is classically trained, he sings opera to heavy metal and everything in between. All his recordings and videos are done in his garage. He has over 200 video's to choose from, and none of them will disappoint.

I’m just catching up with this now - great reaction. Dan could walk out of his garage and onto any Phantom stage in the world. I’m sure you know by now that doesn’t turn everything into metal, and he does do a lot of Broadway and movie music. Just a phenomenal performer in every genre.
This is one of the best, and I have seen many perform this song. Please look at an Aussie John Farnham, you won't be disappointed.
I'm a Phantom fan and only saw the off-Broadway of Phantom in person, but have the CD of Michael Crawford & Sarah Brightman Broadway performance plus have seen Gerard Butler's screen version. No disrespect to either one, but I'm pretty overwhelmed by Dan's version of Music of the Night. Wow! He put everything he had into this just as he does everything and absolutely knocked it out of the park. Love this.
Definitely Gethsemane - he grabs your heart with the agony of the conflict of His being.

The Phantom of the opera is my favorite musical of all time and I try to stay cultured and I have an agreement that whatever the cost I will go to a performance if it comes to my city or at worst country with or without her. Dan really plays the part but I'm still nostalgic with the movie with Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum.

Amazing Grace by Dan Vasc is breathtakingly stunning! That's the one you definitely need to listen and react to.
Personally I just think Metal provides some of the best general practice for singing in general... Unless you are trying to cover Lemmy. It is singing over what would usually be the "backup" and in some bands the singer is just the backup to the guitars.(read as Malmsteen)

Dan hasseveral Phantom of the opera covers. In tandem with female artists that play his beloved counterpart of affection. This one is my favorite as it allows such a glorious portrayal of acting, passion and vocal perfection.

Love your reactions, just one small request, please don't stop in the middle of the highlight of the performance, that's like interrupting a guitarist's solo in heavy metal, just plain mean!
Dan has such power. I think Michael Crawford was the best to ever perform this song. Dan makes him sound like Oscar the Grouch in comparison.
