Compound Interest is one of the most powerful forces in the world.
Most CC charge up to 30% interest rate for those who have a bad or no credit score. Hence, the poor stay poor by being in debt by buying stuff they don't need with Credit Card(s).
I've never understood not paying off the monthly bill in full.

This is why the "Interest on the National Debt" (4th largest expenditure) is rising to the point where it soon may pass the nation's 3rd largest expenditure, Military spending. It has nearly DOUBLED in the last 3 years alone. It is unsustainable!

I'm curious who this video is targeted at, because, in my country, simple vs compound interest was something I learned about in primary school. This was in the mid-late 1980s, but, i guess a lot of education systems have "changed" over the years.
We could do with banning usury entirely. Have the government issue its own, non-interest bearing currency. Make people WORK for money 😛

there is so much MISINFORMATION in this video its not even funny !!! i remember that when i took my student loan for my gender studies degree i was told that unicorns will pay it off for me and when i use my credit card i dont have to pay it back all i have to do is just call and ask for debt ceiling increase !

Credit cards are awesome, just have common sense. They earn you money if you just pay then back on time.
