Love your look today! You look so cute in your glasses and your earrings are cute, too! I agree with your pick for mascara - Maybelline, all the way! My favorites are full n soft and great lash big in brown!
I much prefer the Elf Bite Size palettes to the WerNWild formula because they are more easily blended and have better color payoff. I’m older(50) and find the WetWild and Makeup Revolution Reloaded formulas are stiff and have drag. Not my jam.
Completely agree. I still have that OG walking on eggshells palette that I NEED to toss in the trash. It's barely touched because I just didn't use it. I get so much more use from my Elf bite size palettes. Love both mattes and shimmers but the shimmers are really great for my aging lids (wet or dry). I've been tempted to buy one of the W&W "New formula" palettes but I just can't bring myself to do it. The very 1st review I saw of the 5 pans was done by an ex MUA. She was SO excited to get them. Just couldn't wait to do a review for us but she struggled badly on the 1st palette (I believe she had 4 of them) and didn't want to waste her/our time testing the others. I mean. You could actually see/hear the frustration as she tried that palette. Even though since then every other YTer has raved about them I still can't forget that review. I'll stick with Elf. Much cheaper too, lol
I love the Maybelline lipsticks and the crayons!! I also love the Milani lipsticks, pencils and blushes--creme and powder! Favorite eye shadows are Colorpop, Maybelline Citi-mini palettes, and the elf quads.
Love this video! Here are my pics: primer - wet n’ wild, foundation - Revlon, concealer - Hard Candy, blush - Milani, highlighter - Catrice, mascara - L’Oreal, eyeshadow - elf/wetnwild, lipstick - Revlon superlustrous formula (luxury in a tube!). Thx, Mandy!
I haven’t tried wet n wild eyeshadows but they were and still are my go to eyeliners. Maybelline is my fav drugstore brand for lips and mascaras and when I look at my collection I found that that my old fashion eyeshadow palettes, the ones that I won’t part from are actually cover girl.
I am so happy you picked BH cosmetics for highlighter because they are my go to since I absolutely love them!!! I bounce between the Glowing in Greece and the Bali one and just found the Ireland palette at TJMax and loved it so much I went back and bought another along with another Bali palette just to have back ups. There is just something magical about them for me and prefer them over all the high end ones I’ve tried!!
You probably won't see/read this, but I mixed my Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation (Ivory 10) with my Infallible 24-Hour Fresh Wear (412) and am LOVING the results. They were both just "meh" on their own, but together they seem to blend together really well. Thanks, Mandy!
Great video, thank you:) I'm with you about Lash Paradise. I tried it twice and was disappointed both times. Lash Sensational (the OG and the new one) is fantastic!
I really love Flower Beauty overall, except for Foundation. I might try L’Oreal foundations. For the past 30(?) years I have loved the Revlon Colourstay Foundation for oily skin.
I haven't tried BH's highlighters, so I'd have to give it to Wet N Wild for the highlighter category. For blushes I think Milani does a really good job. I love their cream blushes. I've noticed you do your brows opposite of how most people do them. You make yours darker at the front of the brow and lighter at the tail. It really looks great on you though, it just looks right for some reason. I really like NYX brow products. I like their lift and snatch pen and their brow glue. I did just get the Elf brow lift in the mail today, but haven't tried it yet. It might just take over if it's as good as everyone says. Great video, loved this!
Let's see...Foundation: I don't use drugstore brands. But Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB Cream is nice on top of my favorite sunBLOCK when I want something lighter than foundation. Concealers: e.l.f. or Maybelline, but not that horrid Instant Age Rewind series! I always use a squeeze tube cream or screw top creamy liquid so they don't dry out my undereyes. Mascara: Maybelline Full & Soft, or Wet N Wild Mega Protein. Good, deep blacks; smaller brushes; NOT waterproof so easy to remove; cheap so I can throw them away after my 3 month time limit. Blush: Agree with you! Flower Beauty Blush has some indescribable magic. Eyeshadows: Also Flower, especially the four pan sets in the pretty white cases. I hope Drew is still involved and happy to see the success of the line. Maybelline's The City Mini 6 pans are hard to beat, especially for mattes... Brows: I'm a traditionalist: Maybelline pencils, the short red wooden ones, two on a card for $2.99. Their Tattoo Studio Brow Tint Pen with the pronged paintbrush applicator makes a nice topper for some shade variance and depth. Lip pencils, eye pencils too: NYX. The wooden ones that you have to sharpen; NOT the plastic case waterproof Epic line. Can't beat the color ranges! And they're also cheap enough to toss after a few months. Creamy, but not too. Lip color products: Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balms. SPF 20; wish it was higher. Almost dense enough color to be lipsticks. But not many colors. I'm not loyal to any lip product that doesn't have SPF; I have my dermatologist on speed dial. Setting, or Finishing powders: e.l.f., hands down! I use the HD powder for both, especially the Soft Luminance lightest pink. Specialty products: Almay- remember them?- has a clear lip balm, Age Essentials Lip Treatment SPF 30 Broad Spectrum with a treatment cream core that is the bomb! $10. at Walgreens for 0.24 oz., twice the amount of any other lip stick-type balm product out there. I bought two, I'll buy two more whenever I see them again. Taste like sugar cookies! And thick enough not to melt in a shaded cupholder down low in the van! I have another in my purse at all times. This one is worth the search! Thank you MandyLea, this type of presentation takes a lot of energy to put together!
I am using the new L'oreal Age perfect set. Primer, foundation and concealer. I am older and the hydration are all wonderful. I also love the Elf mini eyeshadows.
I've been using Maybelline's Great Lash for over 35 yrs. No matter which brand I try, even the newer ones from Maybelline I always go back to Great Lash. The last mascara I tried was from Lottie London. That was a huge disappointment for me. On my last trip to the store guess which mascara I bought? Yep, Great Lash. I'm done trying anything else at this point. I just finished my 1st butter gloss from NYX. Can't believe how long it lasted. I was so close to buying a new one but I have a couple of the Lifter glosses to use up. For me those 2 are tied. For eyeshadow. I'm sticking with my Elf bite size palettes. I still have the OG walking on eggshells palettes that's barely touched. Yes, it performed that badly. I gotta toss that palette out. Thanks for the reminder, lol...
This is a really good concept for a video which I really enjoyed-thanks Mandy. It sounds like Maybelline lipsticks are worth a try. Your glasses and earrings look great together!
Wasn't sure if you know, before I forget, WetNWild has a new 5 pan (or newer) in that series, besides those very neutral palettes they just came out with that aren't in that series. You are so frealing adorable today by the way (i hope thats not offensive. I just mean that look suits you so well. Not everyone could pull it off)- like the gorgeous girl in the movies that wears the glasses, supposed to make her nerdy and not attractive when we all know she is. That made no sense, lol, but so cute. Many blessings!
I totally agree with many of your picks, especially the Candid concealer. I love it! It's the only one I'll use under my eyes now. I'm 52 with MANY fine lines and it really never settles in them and gives the perfect amount of coverage for my taste.I appreciate not having to set it as well.I tried it on your recommendation. So, thank you very much!
I am loving the Covergjrl Outlast 3 in 1. Stays on all day and doesn’t settle into my pores or fine lines and great coverage, buildable. . I am trying out the new NYX Bare with Me concealer. Liking it very much.
I wear a mask at least 8 hours a day and can definitely say there's a HUGE difference when I forget to wear setting spray! Half my foundation and most of my blush is gone by hour 3, whereas it looks only slightly worse for the wear when I use it..lol.. love your videos!
@@kimberlyl3177 Personally, I've found the best results with non-radiant foundation (L'oreal Infallible or Dior Backstage), a bit of Kosas setting powder, and Mac Fix Plus setting spray. I have dry skin, but the radiant foundations or setting sprays just transfer everything to my mask. Lately I've been applying the Mac after foundation, then applying a touch of powder then blush, then doing setting spray again. I think I got that from Wayne Goss or someone on RUclips. I think it's really helping! Good luck!
Loved the video today! My favorite foundation I have not discovered as of yet still looking for that special one I guess and i have a hard time figuring out what shade I should buy. Mascara favorite would have to be Maybelline Sky High and my #1 lip gloss is the Maybelline Lifter Gloss. I haven't tried the NYX butter glosses yet. I guess I need to go buy and try it out. Thanks for all your hard work Mandy!💜❣️
Mandy.... L.A. girl (both retractable and sharpenable) and Kokie retractable lip liners DO NOT BUDGE!!! You must try them!! Def up there with Charlotte Tilbury and Natasha Denona!!! BUDGEPROOF!!! BEST PART $5 and under on LA girl and $6 Kokie....
Awesome video Mandy. I love Flower Beauty’s Warm Hibiscus blush - it’s a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk blush and their lipstick and spice pedal is a dupe for the lipstick in pillow talk and I love them both. I bought all of the wet and wild color icon palettes after watching a previous video of yours and thank you I appreciated your advice and they are fantastic!!!
Agreed on the WNW eyeshadow palettes! I recently bought -camo flaunt-because of your recommendation, and you're right, it's a lovely palette. I don't wear the glitter shade on my eyes, so I use it as body glitter 🥳😄 Also Agreed on Maybelline mascara. My favorite is Falsies Lash Lift, but Colossal was my go to for many years. As for blush, I like Cover Girl Cheekers Blush. They're super cheap, and the colors are pretty. I've been enjoying Soft Sable. Sometimes I'll use it as eyeshadow too as a one and done. That particular shade is unique because it's a warm base with a soft, cool reflect. It just makes your eye glow. It was definitely ahead of its time. As for lips, I like Elf's Sheer Slick lipstick in Wild Peach. It's one of those pigmented lip balm formulas so it gives a lot of shine without being too high gloss.
Maybelline The Falsies Lash Lift is even better than Lash Sensational. I’m not the biggest fan of the Wet N Wild eyeshadows. I think Flower Beauty does eyeshadow better.. love their quads and also the Desert and Jungle lights palettes.
I love the Maybelline Lifter glosses. They are the only lip product I've found that doesn't dry my lips out any more than they already are. They also smell good! And I love the L'oreal Lash Paradise mascara. It rivals most high end mascaras. Love your videos.
Loreal foundations are consistently great - my goto is True Nude Serum (has a dropper) - its AMAZING. For concealer I think Catrice does some good ones. I enjoy Milani (baked formula) and Flower beauty blushes. For bronzer I think Physician's Formula has a long history and expertise with bronzers that blend well. I love the Milani Matte Fetish lipsticks that are as good as Charlotte Tilbury but cheaper! For powder compact - No. 7 is really good. Milani setting spray is better I think than Colourpop.
Love those lip pencils too, I have and want to love the urban decay ones that do last longer but they just won’t glide along my 40+ yr old lips as easy.
I actually don't like the original lash sensational mascara, whereas I do like the sky high quite a lot! But the original one just doesn't do much to my lashes and I have to apply like 3 coats, but then they are clumpy... I prefer L'oréal mascaras over Maybelline one's in general 🥰
Thank you for the informative video. Am I the only one who tries to keep all their makeup in one brand (L’ Oreal?) l have rosacea and it seems to help. I do use Revlon lipsticks. Cool glasses!
Your skin looks especially good today. Isn't Colour Pop and bh cosmetics more indie vs drugstore? Ive never seen it there. Where is it? Ive never tried Revlons concealer. I just may have to. I actually agree with all your other choices but I use to like Milanis baked blushes. I can't wear shimmer though anymore so that really narrow it down. I don't get it.Ive tried it with different products and tools. I tried mixing it with an HG and it did the same thing. I am contusion
Love this! My fav is NYX…yes they have a ton of product and they never seem to go bad. 🤪 there is so special about the color champagne in the milani lip gloss. Both products have great staying power for a gloss.❤️ both products have the perfect texture and smell so yummy! Excited to try the maybeline ones. Hugs from Tampa.
Haha I do that with all homemade baked goods! It was hard not to eat it during each of my pregnancy so I’d get cake batter ice cream from Cold Stones. I adore you’re videos and have missed seeing your bloopers.
Love your channel, but this video in particular had you showing swatches to whatever is off to your right side where you kept looking to. Kindly show your searches to us in the camera directly in front of you. It might help us get a better idea of the color/tone. ☺️ Thanks so much.
I think I said that before she popped up on my screen I do like her I do like her but her makeup is just too pale she's a bolded up a little bolded bold it up yeah hold it up a little she act like she's scared to put bold colors bold look she don't have to wear it in real life just do it on her videos so we can see all types of colors and all types of designs
I like her but I don't like her because her makeup is too light to I can't explain it she needs to put more makeup on for the video and if she don't wear that particular style she can work when she's off the video but she's act like he's scared dark well dark is the wrong word colors vivid colors yep I won't give her a thumbs up because I don't like the way she make up her face not enough color for me

Revolution bought them. Hopefully they won't change too much.
Haha I do that with all homemade baked goods! It was hard not to eat it during each of my pregnancy so I’d get cake batter ice cream from Cold Stones. I adore you’re videos and have missed seeing your bloopers.
I love this video, your glasses look amazing,
Also love your makeup 🙂!!!
I love your glasses!!!!
You look fabulous, especially with the glasses😉❤
I loved this video!!!
Loved all of these goodies❣️❤️❤️
Fantastic!
Love your channel, but this video in particular had you showing swatches to whatever is off to your right side where you kept looking to. Kindly show your searches to us in the camera directly in front of you. It might help us get a better idea of the color/tone. ☺️ Thanks so much.
Love love drug store make up. Thanks for this once again outstanding
Loved this x
I've been waiting to see you😁
Covergirl gets no love! I love their concealer, powders and mascaras.
My goodness, you absolutely beautiful!
You look just beautiful.
Great video
Really sad about BH Cosmetics. I was looking on their site today and they have hardly anything. 😕
BH cosmetics went Chapter 11... They're closing their doors.. Still being sold on europe tho... They announced it earlier this month..😢
I think I heard in a Jen Phelps video that BH Cosmetics was filing for bankruptcy. 😕
Yup. Chapter 11. Buy what you can when you can.
👌🤗
You look so cute today!! (I mean you usually look cute but…today tho!) 🔥
Cookie dough is better than cookies lol
Isn’t BH going out of business?
They have filed for bankruptcy. It's possible they can recover from it, time will tell.
Didn’t Emily Noel just do this
I don't watch her anymore, so this is welcomed. Be rude elsewhere.
Sadly BH cosmetics went bankrupt and is going out of business also it’s hard to find.
Since BH is going bankrupt, you can find their products at tj maxx
