The Zingers ❤!! My brother and I got a Zinger for Christmas in 87. What a machine. Us and every kid in the neighborhood ripped that little quad for years. Indestructible!
Cr500 is my vote for the raffle! I'm still bouncing back from my rm250 getting stolen out of my shed 2 months ago. Hell my last break up didn't even hurt as bad as that did.
The black 1983 KZ 1100 and the black KZ 400 LTD next to it were mine. Much enjoyment was had over the years and I really hated to let them go, but the wisdom that comes with age has taught me the lesson that we never really own anything...instead those things own us! So that's two more things that no longer lay claim to a part of my soul. I loved these bikes and I only hope that they end up with someone who will give them the respect that they deserve and not abuse them!
Why have I never heard of nor seen GasGas motorcyles? I just read up on them. I'm 60 y/o. on the shoreline of Connecticut. I still have my 1984 XR250R, 2nd owner in 1990, 1st owner only did wheelies on the street with it. I don't ride it much anymore, but I start it every November, ride it a mile around the parking lot, then remove fuel tank & drain all the fuel from everything. It is a cold blooded botch,but still starts within 3-5 kicks. The only thing I ever did to it was replace the rear tire (once) & the piston & rings in 2006 when it began to smoke.

You would probably have the most success to go with a sweet CR 500 ( are even a KX500 ) are even a nice Maico 490.I think it would sale more tickets than what a Gas Gas 2 stroke would bring just because of the age of your views.

I think if you could do one of those 509‘s using a off-road model 250 Gas Gas base it would be popular but you may have to set a reserve so you guys don’t go in the hole and sale list tickets and what you’ve got in the actual bike. I’m guessing your cost on a 250 is around 7500 and 5K for the kit but I think everyone would understand if you must put a reserve on the bike before you can release it because you can’t go $3000 in the hole of doing a raffle . I didn’t buy a ticket this time because I wasn’t interested in that Honda CRF I did buy some tickets on the one the year before and I would definitely buy some on a big bore gas gas kit bike
