When I go to load from the USB to the controls I get either an alarm saying name already used or if it does transfer it only send a small portion of the program. usually just the first line. What do i do? I followed your directions to a T.
Problem is that ... Once we copy program from cnc mem to usb drive.... And open this program in NOTEPAD... there are so many so many end of block(;) symbol added between two blocks.... please solve my problem Like... G01 X60 Y20; ; ; ; G01 X20 Y0; ; ; G00 Z20; ; ; G01 X30 Y-6; ; ;
Anyone who thinks Fanuc is a half good controller is kidding themselves. It's TOTAL junk and this is just another example of ancient technology hasn't caught up.
I don't think the controls junk at all...but whoever wrote the GUI needs a swift kick in the nuts. It's made my decision difficult in the purchase of a new machine. Some mfg's have a very nice control and workflow...
Erik Shafer not junk but the gui needs fixing... lol. Sounds like you are trying to make it something its not... the gui is what it is and thats complete junk!!

can you run the program directly from the usb drive? to save memory. The Haas control does this so very easily.
This also works with newer model fanuc controllers. #17 in I/O settings is the key.

Fanuc sucks. They only survived this long because old machinists recognize the name. Next gen will leave them in the dust.
