We should be proud to own a breed like Kangayam and no comparison with overseas breed at all. while listening to lady and gentleman I am so impressed of their demonstration about breed selection and feeding of bull. we are Indian and no space for overseas breed in India. our cattle and farmers are our pride and culture.

My father knows all those tactics, involved many cattle selections and to buy. As I was not involved in agriculture more, he did not transferred that to me. These kind of tactics needs to be documented like this more and more..

Around 10 people went in search of good breeding bull for the village. physically animal is tested wheather it can produce good progeny for future. If possible even pedigree of the bull is also analyzed. After considering all this. the last test is with suzhi. With experience they avoid some suzhi's. Infact horses have more suzhi. In rajasthan one can observe it. Infact suzhi is also present in dogs also. Just because its old. it doesnt mean its not right.
