His words almost make me cry, but his guitar does. It says so much that I don't know how to articulate about the suffering in the world. I really love that he left the metallic clunk of the loop pedal in, too. The way it echoes in the church, cold and hard against the warmth of his voice and instrument. In war, that metallic click can mean salvation or obliteration. We hear that painful mixture of hope and fear throughout the song. So simple, but so important. I hope we learn the lessons. People like you and Romain, give me hope that light and love will prevail.
