  • Dallah means "sacred pond" in Malinke language. In the Northeast region of Guinea, the pond is not a place where people can go fishing anytime they want.
    Being a sacred pond, it's only once every year, that the village elders will decide a specific time when everybody would go and fish from the pond. During this festival, the rhythm Dallah is played.
