lol wtf are you on about, that perp was suspicious as all hell from the moment he opened his mouth. Why do you think the officer was taking him out of the vehicle? He wouldn't have done that for window tint if he didn't think the guy was acting weird.
The guys that set that first officer up to die should hang their heads in shame. They knew how dangerous this man was, yet they let a lone trooper try to effect a traffic stop. They sent him to his death. Sad, tragic end to what seemed like a good decent honourable officer, prayers for his family and friends.
This. It was absolute insanity to send a single officer up against a known drug and arms trafficker. If there was a second officer watching the firsts back this wouldnt have happened.
So true you could see him keep looking down the highway to see if his back-up was coming. Seconds made the difference between life and death. After he was killed THEN the border Patrol agents showed up. His wife has a lawsuit against them and she should. If you can watch the video of him that show's what a great officer, and father he was then you would know what a great lost of life it was.
You are the only one who knows what's up. That was a easy setup !! They were watching him get executed. Terrible how the government will sacrifice even the ones who risk thier lives.

He was setup , in the full video that I seen years ago. It's heartbreaking even seeing it again today. But the full video gives you chills. They don't show right after that officer gets gunned down. Special Agents come seconds when that Coward drives off. And they don't call EMS or anything. They were tracking that criminal they knew who he was. They never warned that officer or anything. He was led into an Ambush purposely. And no one's ever even talked about it. In that same video , you see all his officer friends crying and mad. De la Garza was a friend and mad.
I hate that this happened to Darian . I use to be an over the road truck driver and when I would leave Arizona to go over to Texas. This video has been around for awhile but first time seeing it since early last year. It was just as disturbing as watching it for the very first time (that final shot close range to the back of the head was painful to watch). The perp was being followed by a slew of agencies like the FBI & Homeland Security (they were just several hundred metres behind), they were aware that suspect could very well be armed. However, they failed to notify the local police so when this officer pulled him over, he had no clue of the potential danger he could be in. Simply tragic.

That doesn't make you a bad person my dear. I speculate that this wasn't his first encounter with the law and if the courts had done their jobs he wouldn't have been in a position to do this in the first place.
I haven't kept up with it, but I remember the controversy surrounding whether officer Jarrott was aware who this guy was when he participated in a stop for Homeland Security officers. The feds set him up or so his family believes, and it seems plausible. If so, it is a despicable act whether intentional or not.
Officer Jared was a really great man- you can tell in his speech at the beginning. I’m so sorry his life was ended like this. His dear family has suffered such a loss. God bless his loved ones. And very glad that justice was served on the perp.
I remember a little a bit about this case. Apparently the perp was wanted by some agency (FBI, US Marshals...). This agency knew the perp was very dangerous so failed to infrom the officer Darren about how dangerous this guy is before asking him to stop the perp. Officer Darren's family won a big suit because this and justfiably so.
Yep, what Jon doesn't show here is how quickly the FEDs arrived after the initial encounter. They are in the middle of nowhere. The officer didn't even have a chance to get on the radio to declare shots fired before he was murdered. Yet, FEDs arrived within a minute.
I didn't know about this case and now after reading these comments with the additional info I'm as equally disgusted by the FEDs as with this lowlife POS. At least I technically understand the criminal.. he's a criminal. Good to know the family sued and won - whatever the amount, Im sure it wasn't enough.
This is one of the most difficult videos I've seen, De La Garza is an absolute badass. Did us all a favor by taking this POS out of society, he should never buy himself another beer for the rest of his life. RIP officer Jared 💔
The first time I watched this I asked too many questions on how this can happen. I am not an LEO but I know LEO's and I respect each and every one of them. I have been on the opposite side of the law. Granted in a small capacity because of my own stupidity, but I know they're all good men and woman. I have seen the unedited version, and I am reminded of the evil in this world. I am now a family man and am fortunate to be a lawful firearm owner and a family man. I train and I train my daughters. My wife supports us and herself as well in training. Since I've followed this channel, I've learned much and complimented it with my LEO friends. God Speed to the men and woman who want to protect us.
There are certainly a lot of good LEO's out there but also a lot of bad ones. A lot of real tyrants got exposed during the last 3 years. High River gun grab 2013. There are dirty cops too.
This was a terrible situation with a bad outcome. This is why John says to practice your spiritual fitness everyday and tell your family how much you love them
The way all the officers respond to one of their own getting injured is the way I wish everyone could be in this world today! Unfortunately, people don't care much about each other anymore.
These type of acts are just uncalled for smh. God Bless all of Law Enforcement for having exponential faith to do these works. You all are underrated!!!
I've been waiting for this one for a while! This guy is crazy! You forgot to show the video taken by a bystander showing the pit maneuver and this maniac hopping out the vehicle firing like he was the terminator, Insane stuff, this guy was some cartel member of some sort
And people wonder why police officers are so on edge. A routine traffic stop where the perp seemed perfectly calm and compliant and it turned into the officer, losing his life. Me and my family are so thankful for the brave men and women that choose to be police officers. Thank you for all you do
and what lead to that in the first place ? i am not saying that cops is a bad one but he paid the price of a shitty goverment we didnt get here in 1 month
that first stop wasn't routine, look up the actual backstory on it. There was a small army following them and they knew the guy was a cartel member. They let it happen.
@@PhonePhone-sf8te oh yeah they let it happen without even alerting the officer doing the traffic stop that the guy he was pulling over was a dangerous killer.

Man I’ve been waiting for you guys to do this one since it first happened. Ur guys insight helps allot of people get closure and insight on how to best avoid or be prepared for these outcomes. I hope his family is taken care of and the federal agency is held accountable for not informing him and letting it happen right infront of them.

I've seen this event used in a training scenario with civilians getting a taste of what its like to be a cop. This should be a training exercise for every LEO department.
I never thought I'd see a marked Camaro, let alone a Camaro successfully PITting a full-size pickup. That officer had balls of steel to spin out a truck with his little car and then jump out into fire.

First of all, my condolences to the officers' family... This clip highlights just how dangerous the job is and quickly it can get out of hand. Sad situation. I sincerely hope the POS was suffering extreme panic, fear, and regret every inch of the 40 miles only for it to be magnified exponentially with the addition of incomprehensible pain in his last moments.
Wow, what a great cop. He was professional and friendly in the video. I cannot understand that in the USA police officers go on patrol so often alone. In central europe there are at least two officers on the beat. This prevents so many dangerous situations. Especially in the USA, where so many people have guns, it would be important to have a team.
Budget restraints and the vast openness of the area to cover - specially in the West. All the more reason to be EXTRA CAREFUL and take your time with stops. The cop was too trusting and had his guard down. He should have never allowed him to exit - but even still he should have demanded he exit with his hand in the air. Then he could have pulled his weapon and taken cover when the driver exited without his hands in the air.
@@randallsmerna384so you want every traffic stop to have the officer make the driver raise his hands and exit the car at gun point? I live in the Las Cruces area and I am proud to know that we have this type brave and professional officers.
Rip officer Jared. I hope his family has been able to emotionally recover from their loss.
Probably not when his deaths being aired all over the Internet.
Definitely a hard one to watch for anyone. Prayers to the officers family.
That trooper sounded like a saint.. RIP Trooper Jared
So Proud of these officers! SO SAD for the State Trooper who was generous and giving the perp the benefit of the doubt.
The way that Officer stayed in the fight & continued to mag dump after getting hit!!!! 🙌🏾❤️
That's right, no one here on Earth or anywhere will ever regret his passing.
My condolences to the officer's family and colleagues.
RIP Trooper Jarrott ❤ and God bless the officer who took down this animal...
Understood. But we have to be sure not to be overly deferential in all cases because that leads to consttutional abuses. Judge every case by its unique facts.
@@rtbgains6563 Wow.. so basically they let this trooper go out and pull over a known sicario and they're all "it'll be fine'? WTF!
Been waiting for you like forever to feature this one since it happened, RIP officer he seemed to be a real nice guy! and on the 2nd part, that PIT maneuver was and still the best one I've seen in my whole life (IF you saw the other angle of that scene you'll know what I mean) the result was also so satisfying!
I've seen this event used in a training scenario with civilians getting a taste of what its like to be a cop. This should be a training exercise for every LEO department.
One of the hardest I’ve seen.. RIP
There’s another view of the pit maneuver and shootout - it’s in the original video. Worth checking out
I never thought I'd see a marked Camaro, let alone a Camaro successfully PITting a full-size pickup. That officer had balls of steel to spin out a truck with his little car and then jump out into fire.
Glad you guys finally showed this big heal here in NM
Heartbreaking to see the officer go down. But nothing but happiness as the bad guy takes the temp challenge.
Great job, and my condolences for the other officer 👮♀️ may he rest in peace.. God bless
Dude got hit but got up and got his get back. Love to see it, been waiting for you to do this video for a couple years now.
One of the saddest videos I've ever seen, RIP to the officer who passed and a big F.U. to the piece of excrement who murdered him.
The cold bloodedness of this.... Wow. Pray for officers soul and his family. Hope that scumbag is getting railed in hell.
He is. Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and *murderers,* and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
See this incindent before amd still hard to watch. May that officer rest in peace. Officer Garza, outstanding work, My Man. Thankful you are still with us. As for the perp, he got off easy and won't be missed. I am returned military and served in two armed conflicts amd one peacekeeping mission. My head, even now is still on a swivel. One thing different is I had many assets at my disposal in a fight and battle buddies to my left and right. Awesome work, Sir.
Was waiting on this review from last year ❤
Fantastic and condolences
Just heartbreaking. So hard to watch :(
This video is always a tough one to watch man…
First of all, my condolences to the officers' family... This clip highlights just how dangerous the job is and quickly it can get out of hand. The first officer did not even have a hand on his weapon his guard was way down... the officer who finished the job, I hope, gets an award as it is truly deserved...Best clip I have seen from your channel..
Saw This About A Year Or More Ago But The Blurred Scene. Thank You For Not Blurring. It's Really A Sad Ending For The Cop, A Lesson For Other Cops As Well. Watching From Lagos Nigeria, And A 5 Year Subscriber.
Wow, this was from a minute ago. Tough watch at the beginning, absolute heroic officer at the conclusion.
ASP should look at the shooting out of Fargo soon.
Sad situation. I sincerely hope the POS was suffering extreme panic, fear, and regret every inch of the 40 miles only for it to be magnified exponentially with the addition of incomprehensible pain in his last moments.
Hello from the UK, ive seen some terrible things over the years. But cold head shot execution hit deep.
Lord have mercy. Amen
Incredible footage!
So his wife sued the State Homeland Security knew who he was and didn’t tell the trooper. it’s BS what they did to him.
Deepest, heartfelt condolences to the police force and the loved ones of the officer. D-bag is really gonna be suffering now in the afterlife. Good!
Wow, what a powerful video. I'm speechless
Thank God for all y'all that protect us... thank you God bless, bless the family
So sad this Man gave his life just doing his job protecting us.
This LEO was obviously a nice guy and it's very sad. I hate to say it, but as soon as there was any hint of a firearm he needed to draw
Absolutely heartbreaking situation
RIP! Good job to all the officers.
He wasn’t given all the details of the suspect that’s why he approached casually. This was a shot stop from the start. Had he had the pertinent info he would have never approached the vehicle.
@@alexcusma4908yeah this was on the Fed Bois.
They’re DMFers for sending him in to die.
Whoever was in charge should be fired and the family should sue the government for gross negligence.
@@alexcusma4908 Running every traffic stop like that would be a good way to ensure officer safety and an incentive to obey the law.
I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE, BEEN SO STRUCK WITH ADMIRATION AND RESPECT FOR MY BROTHERS IN ARMS........PERIOD.
DE LA GARZA IS A MAWTHUFAWCKN HERO. WE NEED AN L.E.O. "MEDAL OF HONOR" AWARD FOR THIS MAN......AND ALL THOSE COMING THROUGH SIMILAR SITUATIONS.
sad to see someone gunned down
Rip
This one ranks up there with the snow shoveling incident that absolutely turns my stomach
SO SAD THE OFFICER LOST HIS LIFE.
no shit! he took like 5 rifle rounds to center mass, no one would survive that
Respect to all the officers in the land you do an amazing job...such a terrible ending .this cop seem so nice aswell rip
I’ve seen this video before, and my heart sank when I saw him come out with that rifle. 😰
“Those who choose violence as a first option are typically confronted by somebody else using violence as a last resort”.
🌹@05:27 the way they all came to help him has me in tears 😢😢😢😢😢@11:25 bless you for reminding us in the spiritual fitness message @15:20 ohhhhh there's an app???@20:53 this part how he helped brought me to years 💙@21:00 incredible review guys thank you 😢
its sad when you find out, i think it was US marshals that had him pull him over and they never alerted him to the fact this man was dangerous and armed.. basically sentenced him to death
Darian didn’t deserve to die, the negligence of the task force to notify him of the dangers and failing to provide backup is abhorrent. RIP
My condolences to the family of officer
Deserve all the respect!!
Officer Garza is a G, rest in peace NM Trooper Jarrot.
Rest in piss more like it
@Marin3r101 your right! I fixed it thanks.
