Hey just wanted to ask if you'd prefer the EX2780Q or the EW3280U for gaming on the PS5? Please, if you could help me out!!

Great review my man. Thank you for the details.
Interesting point you talked regarding the quality of the actual IPS panel that is used in the monitor.
Any idea about the quality of the IPS panels used in the budget monitors from BenQ say EW2780 or the Dell S series?

Hey, I respect u for your qualitative reviews and I wanted to ask, if u plan to do a video about TVs and monitors for the new generation of consoles. If this is in your range, I would like to hear your opinion on what u would buy.
I know, there isn't much on the market like that, but I look for a 4k 120hz one, to get the full advantage of next Gen and I think, many other people do so too.

How is the tilt and adjustability on the screen?

Thanks. Very useful review. Amazon just dropped the price of this monitor from $799 to $699. For those looking for a professional content creation monitor check out BenQ PD3200U. It has 100% sRGB and REC.709 gamut plus the stand rotates, tils and swivels. Its price just dropped from $899 to $699.

Hey Tom -- did you make a decision between the two?
This review was fantastic. I almost pulled the trigger on this monitor over the PD3200U, because I felt like this one was just newer and slightly better.
I read more due to your comment, and found that HDR provides wider color gamut than sRGB.
This monitor is 699.99 on B&H Photo right now :)

@@justinsharpe9416 Yeah, I just bought the PD3200U since it fits my use case better (photography editing) and I don't need HDR or the sound board.

@@TomGrubbe dang.. this is my perspective solely - but this one would still, likely do it better for you..and has way better color for you!
of course - I'm an internet stranger..but I would return and swap..

Hi - When using the EW3280U 4K Entertainment Monitor with HDRi Technology | BenQ with my MacBook Pro 2018. I have my monitor connected via USB C. When I go into the monitor menu some features are greyed out: Brightness, Colour Mode and Colour Temperature. When I connect the monitor to my Windows 10 Desktop I see those features. I thought this monitor was fully supported by Mac? I am running macOS Catalina v10.15.7. How can I resolve this?

Just bought this monitor last week. So if I want to use Lightroom I have to set my monitor into Rec.709 right?

If you are working with RGB color space then it's recommended. A calibration would be best in this case, but isn't always realistic at this price point.

    Hey 👋
Is this working with xbox series x hdr and freesync? Is there some better monitor for this Price ?

    • @GadgetryTech
      @GadgetryTech  3 года назад

Hi, sorry I missed this comment! Both HDR and Freesync work on XBox Series X. Honestly at this price it's hard to beat (for the 32" size). Dell is very comparable but retails for a bit more. I think that's the closest competitor.
