Be it the script … dialogues.. acting … sets … music … and above all the direction !!! Everything is 10 out of 10 !!

This drama is an absolute masterpiece. The host is very concerned about controversies, which is useless. She should have aksed questions about actors, acting and drama.
One can not please everyone, there will be people who will object at anything, whatever is presented in whatever way. It is a drama, people should take all dramas as drama only. It is entertainment. And if there are any sensitive topics being discussed, even then it is totally fine. Everyone is part of this society and he/she can present anything in anyway that he/she likes.

In gender equality, you think girls should clean gutters and do mazdoori also? Or, it means just exploitation of males? Reason I ask this is that here in USA, girls and women do ALL types of jobs,including janitors and doing road constructions.

This is just a story of two houses, not the whole world. Every house has different rules. I am sure Rabia u were brought up in a different way than your friends. Study takes lot of time and you don’t have time for housekeeping. Also if your mom didn’t get a chance for higher education, she makes extra effort so her daughters go for higher education.

Sorry but that is not true. Education and some housekeeping can go side by side and there is no excuse for not doing that. Daughters (and sons also) need to understand that their mother is not a servant. That if they are studying they cannot do household chores. It is just a matter of how much you care about your mother. There is no excuse. Helping in some cooking on weekends or during holidays should not be a problem. If boys can do lot of errands while studying why not girls.
@@asmaramanal8591 No that is not true. Studies and household work can go side by side, 60% studies, 30% chatting social media and only 10% helping mother.

My honest review. Danish nawaz has proven in just 2 episodes that he can make a winning comic drama with any team. The flow of drama is too good.
I was hoping more paristan, though Paristan is upto the mark. But this Humtum is also not behind at all. Infact feels that in couple of episodes it may surpassed the other Ramadan darama.
Ramsha is improving day by day. When she started her carrier I never liked her but now she is as good as Sajal and Yumna zaidi.
Its always good to see actors progress.
Both families are well knitted. Perfect balance of characters, even though Ahad’s scenes seems a bit more, but he is acting well (but their breakup has really disappointed me alot, so i was not in a mood to watch it but stars like sarah ramsha nani forced me to watch it plus direction of Danish nawaz can not be missed.

Some comments are really harsh towards the host. I applaud her for asking these questions because it’s been a long time that writers and directors had a freehand and it’s good to show them that there is an educated audience that analyses what is being shown. Also the actors handled it quite well. I’m sure if Rabia had seen the drama she would realize the roles are reversed. What is being highlighted is that genders should not have limited roles in society.
Apart from this I’m a bit surprised that Sarah thinks dramas don’t impact society or people’s thinking, but she mentions the beginning of her relationship and the videos that viral did. She mentioned they had an impact on PDAs being more acceptable in society and that men started being affectionate in public in Pakistan. This is huge and very good news but it sort of backfired on her previous point.
Overall loved the casual conversation with all actors and Danish too. Danish answered the could-be controversial questions sensibly. Kudos to him for doing the best dramas in Ramzan. Love his work. 👍🏼
The host was annoying and she was hell-bent on making this interview gender war. There are some responsibilities which are suited to male and female respectively. Men should help in house chores but it is the primary responsibility of women. Just like taking financial care of a family is a primary responsibility of a man. If a woman helps well that is a plus. But of course some of the women are keen to take what is theirs but not what lies in their domain as a responsibility.
@@aligillani7107 That's a patriarchal statement. Yes, there are gender norms but those should be changed, people are getting more aware. Norms and stereotypes are made by us humans only so saying that it's already established and one should stick to these norms would be wrong.
So, either you or I telling someone what their primary responsibility is based on their gender is wrong.
