This song is my second favorite TXT title track right behind Run Away, I am OBSESSED with it. That prechorus is GOLDEN and that final chorus when they bring the dark dance beat underneath the initial production they did for the first chorus... UGH, it makes the song feel SO sexy, you TOTALLY have to hear it with headphones you’ll get what I’m saying. This song feels both bright and dark at the same time, it’s so reminiscent of their work before 2021, it feels like a return to form which I am so happy about because pre 2021 TXT is my favorite. With this song it’s like they combined both their dream and nightmare concepts in one song. This was a level up for them imo, it feels mature and refined, it’s just amazing. I can’t praise it enough, the video is amazing too, they all look SO GORGEOUS but my bby Beomgyu stole my heart again 🥺🖤
I loved your breakdown of the dance practice! It really feels like they're using their strengths more, mostly their synchronicity and long ass limbs. There's a bit more fluidity and extension to their movement, kind of makes it seem like they're filling the space even though there's only 5 of them. And the coy little gimme more gestures KILLED me, it's so unexpectedly suggestive and cheeky for them but I love it lol. I'm more partial to Devil By The Window, maybe bc I come from more of a heavy metal background so falsetto just doesn't work for me most of the time, but I gotta say Sugar Rush Ride is living up to it's name bc it gets better the more I listen to it. There's almost a disco vibe to it, which is wild but somehow also perfect for a more pop-centric comeback. Also, I love that they're maturing through their music in a way that's a bit more unconventional. I feel like a lot of other groups will go more rap or rock heavy with the music and super buff with lots of leather with their looks when they want to convey that they've "grown up". But TXT was like "nah, we're gonna be ethereal glittery fae lost boys anti-dropping our new sound into your ear drums" and I'm sooo here for it.

TXT never disappoints! i listened to devil by the window on the album and didn't notice it was a full english release until i watched on a music show where the lyrics were in the corner lol. i'm so used to groups focusing on promoting their english songs as pre-releases/singles/kinda separate but TXT just does it on the low low. they've been a rly fun group to follow since debut with such solid evolution.

Now i am Yeonjun biased 😅, Beomgyu wrecker and Soobin is still 3rd. Kai became a problem in Good Boy Gone Bad. The long hair dang. 0.0 And Terry is a small problem in Lovesong. And i am still asking myself What happened? 0.0 Lol. I am a mixed media artist. I love their vocals and rap. And they kill it for dance. I am ult Jimin biased, Suga wrecker, OT7 so the dancers get me. And I am into looks because visual person. Plus Jimin is bloody charming and a flirt and I see that in Yeonjun too. But yeah that's my story. =0p Sugar Rush Ride is not bad. I got to get used to the rhythm. The visuals were great. Loved the vocals too and fits. Depends on taste and execution I guess. Their debut era choreo was arguably their most intense/impressive but they really stepped into their own during the love song era but then they’ve always been creative like with Puma and now SRR with its own twist. So overall as a reactor familiar with them, I’m more shocked at their consistency and impressed by it.
