NLSIR Webinar on Anti-Arbitration Injunctions: Mr. Sanjay Jain, Mr. Rajshekhar Rao & Mr. Ashutosh K

The National Law School of India Review organised a webinar on Anti-Arbitration Injunctions in India with some of the most experienced speakers on the subject. The webinar offered an interesting exposition on the issues surrounding the jurisprudence of anti-arbitration injunctions in India.
The speakers for the webinar are:
Mr. Sanjay Jain, Senior Advocate and Additional Solicitor General of India: Mr. Jain regularly represents the Union of India in a number of matters relating to the interpretation of constitution, tax, corporate and commercial law matters. He currently represents the Central Government in the Vodafone arising from the India-UK BIPA arbitration.
Mr. Rajashekhar Rao, Advocate, Supreme Court of India (NLS Alum): Mr. Rao’s principal areas of practice are civil-commercial litigation and arbitration. He is regularly engaged by top-law firms in India for their competition, corporate law and arbitration matters.
Mr. Ashutosh Kumar, Advocate, Supreme Court of India (NLS Alum): Mr. Kumar apart from being an NLS alum, holds an LL.M from Columbia Law School. He regularly appears in both the Delhi HC and Supreme Court in arbitration and commercial law matters. Mr. Kumar also appears with Mr. Jain as co-counsel for the Central Government in the Vodafone matter.
