The photographer comes across as a very honest and eloquent person and his story is told so well... Excellent little film.

I have always loved Martin's work since I found it 20 something years ago. There is an honesty and purity to his work that is so important for future and present generations.

I love to listen to an articulate, intelligent artist who really thinks about his work.

Parr’s work made a very positive impression on me from the first time I saw it 40 years ago. His sense of humor and perspective on modern life are, to me, uplifting despite the sometimes not-so-glamorous circumstances he documents.

I spent 20+ years learning what I could of the craft of photography and was fortunate to finally achieve my dream of being a newspaper photographer. The dream lasted for a decade before the print industry died for papers. But for a decade it was something I will never forget. I was lucky to catch on with a small, new weekly newspaper that loved running multi-image front pages on each section so I got a ton of exposure and was well known throughout the county. Today I am in retirement from professional work and just enjoying trying to see like my idol, Cartier-Bresson.

Inspirational. Like Vivian Maier, his work will only become more and more valuable, to society, with time.

very impressive work indeed...just maybe a little tinted with a "english photographer of english people for english audience" but that is Mr. Parr's right of choice......

Very impressive operation! Yes, the pigment inkjet prints are pretty archival. Eastman Kodak dye transfer prints will fade terribly in a few months of sunlight. An archival pigment (inkjet) print does not fade noticeably until over a year in the sun. Inkjet prints (cured) have decent water resistance too. I've tested them underwater for 7 days and they held up. (Although it your archive is underwater for week you got big problems.) A dye transfer print start to lose image dye noticeably within 30 minutes underwater. Only thing I didn't like in the show was the framed prints looked too glossy on the wall. Reflections make them hard to enjoy. Good luck with your Foundation!

It seems so, have a listen to the interview with KaiW from about 4 years ago, he said it pretty straightforwardly at minute 4.06! And it is a funny and yet insightful interview!
