TIPS FOR AURUMS: If you want you can save 5,000/10,000/20,000 Aurums to spend it on a Caravan which you can buy in every tavern. Then you travel very far from where you bought it and go to taverns to sell them at a very high price. I usually go to cities that are at the edge of the map and if lucky I buy 20,000 Aurums worth of caravan and sell them at the other side of the map for 80,000. The journey is far but the profit is high
You will be slow, VERY slow, so make sure you have enough strong troops and know the safest route to travel when doing so. I got chased down many times doing this.
In the mercenary guild, if you go up the building to the top floor, you can get customizable troops. They have a certain amount of power cap to how good their gear is, but you could probably get the archer line to have all leaf bombs. Have an army of 50 tank units plus 100+ leaf bombers and you will probably be able to take out the whole map
QUICK TIP: Red Kingdom (Tolrania) is a GREAT hunting ground for mostly mid and high-tier bandits. Wolf Knights, deserters, war prisoners, brigands, demon cultist guys, assassins, all sorts. Have fun!
You should try out the lotr mod "The last days of the third age" its a lot different than a normal playthrough. There is also a submod which makes the game look more like the film.
Afternoon Trm, I have a troop recommendation for you if you continue this playthrough. The Perisno Rune Rangers are some of the best foot archers in the game even with smaller quivers (30 Flaming Arrows) than some Elintorn archers they can easily match them arrow for arrow and have heavier hitting Perisno Composite Bows which outclass their Elintorn and Geldarin counterparts in damage and effectiveness against armor. They will upgrade from the Perisno Recruit line which you can get from Farmers that you rescue from prisoner stacks. These fellows are one of my favorite units in the mod once you have a companion with high enough training, (I would suggest Aracanus once you have 100k aurums).They shred through attackers on siege defenses and give you a passive skill in Foraging so your army would not rely upon food in your inventory. I cannot recommend the Perisno Rune Ranger enough.
Hireing Deserters is never worth the loss of Honor in the perisno mod. You lose relations with honorable Lords and Factions are not willing to recognize your sovereignty.
With the looting + throwing setup, you gotta try getting the Tolranian Bombs item drop. You can ambush Count Tyricas when he's low or engaging another party, sell unwanted loots, then pay Tolrania Kingdom a small fee for peace. I think there's only one other lord besides Tyricas that fields Galwe Alchemists.
From my personal experience, lords won't give you quests after 3rd time you ask for one. You'll just have to wait for a bit I guess and ask 3 times again until they give you a quest.
You can only recruit the enemy prisoners if you have positive relation with their correlating faction. I think in perisno it needs to be at least +5? or 10 maybe.

yo i got hooked on M&B and i installed warband vikings.. and i got stuck immediately.. you like get bow and polearms and mounts 3rd day. 20 days into my playtrough, i had a snapped bow, basic arrows, and 7 units... any tips?
I had the same issue, turns out it's the new Nvidia Drivers, had to revert mine to one of the pre-November 2020 ones to make it work normally. The game lags when u move your mouse.
When your honor is too low, your relations with lords decrease across the board if you’ve met them, but when it increases your relations go back to normal I think
ive been play warsword and i dont have the flag at 1:22 where you can tell units to go i have to be right there or use backspace is there any way to turn it on?
Hey Trm U should JOIN tolrania to take advantage of galwe alchemist with fire bombs which in my opinion Are way better than leaf bombs. Keep up the good work.!

Its because he doesn't get as frustrated at AI as he does with other people, so he's more relaxed and engaging when doing single player stuff

the prisoner system in this mod works different. you need certain relation with the faction in question to get their troops in your party

Keep the f1 pressed and start moving your mouse cursor around. A flag should appear that shows where your units will go after you release the f1 key

Perisno is by far the hardest mod for Warband that I’ve experienced so far, Pendor is more balanced but has less content it seems
Have you played awoiaf? If you don’t know about it watch the first episode of TRM’s series for an idea, it’s also hilarious so there’s that
I keep my armies all the same faction of troops, if you have mixed troops you get moral drops for you troops when at war with other factions..
That's not a real issue if you get like 4-5 different food types alongside constantly fighting

Be careful Valahir can be hard to farm cause they have phat 1000+ stacks all over their lands
Brigettes relation went down because your honour is too low from hiring bandits and you lose global honourable lord relation for that
