not a fan of baseball because it's not a thing where I'm from (Singapore) but that sounds like an amazing person who lived a great life. a noteworthy person to honor, and a great looking watching to do so with! thanks for yet another awesome review, Teddy!
Teddy Great Job as always, much like yourself I am a Huge baseball fan. I bought your last Roberto Clemente watch a month ago or so. I absolutely love it. I heard Rumors over the summer that Oris was going to Honor another Great legend, glad it was Hank, Great Person as well as one of the all time Greats of Baseball. I will Get in touch with Jon and Have him put one aside for me. Thanks for all you do for this industry!
Hank somehow manages to be underrated today as homers are the main thing for which he's known to those that didn't watch him play. He was plus with his legs, big plus with his glove, and a complete rather than one-dimensional power hitter. Truly an all-time great, even if he traded a ton of homers for doubles.
Now I am in a big dilemma...... should I get this one, or the Roberto Clemente version? Both are white dials, but RC one is more subtle, while HA has the "wow" factor..... help me decide please!!
Hi Teddy, I have been following your channel for more than two years. Love how you respect affordable watches! My question to you is, if we forget the fact that it pays tribute to a great athlete, purely from a watch perspective how do you like the design. And, are there other brands with pointer dates because I love this complication and it is a great conversation starter.
Just checked with my AD and they say have one in stock. They're confirming tomorrow but assuming they have it, I'll head down there and pick it up. Also just bought the Oris Big Crown ProPilot. Need to get this hobby in check.
I'm glad I saw this video. Your store site shows it with a much lighter blue that wasn't my taste, but your lighting for this made it look gorgeous. Now I just need to convince the Mrs.
That makes two of us. Great looking watch, but would be good to see Oris branch out away from baseball for its special editions. Perhaps a George Best special edition?
If I could redesign this there would be slight changes to design, I would make the 3,6,9 have bases instead of plane triangles, and I would make the seconds hand have some sort of bat design while staying elegant.
Hey Teddy, could you do a video a video of the new Certina DS Action Diver Titanium 43mm? It seems like a great deal and looks the part, but I’m missing professionally made videos of it on YT. Thanks in advance!
hi teddy, just bought this beauty. i couldnt find an answer anywhere online. on the leather strap, are we supposed to leave the second holder on the fabric loop? my wrist is smaller and i kind of want the second loop to be free floating.
Hope someone can help. I just propose to my gf and I’m looking for an engagement watch. My budget is up to 2,000 USD and I would like to get a watch that I can use the day of my wedding, but also looks good more casual due to the fact that I never, literally never, dress up. I was thinking on a Pinter Date Cervo Volante, but I’m not quite sure if it will look good with a suit, also may consider a Nomos Club Campus. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Hank won multiple Golden Glove awards in addition to his fabulous hitting.

Thanks for watching!!
Henry Aaron is the TRUE home run king. An absolute legend on the field, and a great person off of it. A beautiful human being.
Carl Brashear and now hank Aaron. I'm liking oris' limited editions dedicated to honoring notable people
Have you seen the previous Roberto Clemente edition? These pointer date models are some of my favorite from Oris
@@TeddyBaldassarreReviews I hadn't before. Looks amazing, thanks!

Now we need a Jackie Robison version.

Beautiful watch! Both front and back, that one is a stunner. I need to get myself an Oris Pointer Date.
It really is!

Few years ago Oris did a Watch honoring Roberto Clemente. Looks like this style. Nice dress watch
Yes, it is one of our favorites!
What a beautiful hommage this watch is. Thank you for the Review. Greetings from Germany.
Thanks for watching!
Great video and I am picking my up tomorrow- a huge baseball and Hammering Hank fan and this is a beauty
A nice looking watch with a great story about a great baseball player. Thanks for the video.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
I have the Oris Roberto Clemente watch. It's a great watch and looking to purchase the Oris Hank Aaron watch.
Outstanding video, Teddy!
Glad you liked it!
Looks awesome, hope there are other designs which follow this aesthetic
Not a fan of baseball but this is definitely one of my top favourites from Oris Pointer Date watches
As a European I have no idea how baseball even works, but damn that's a sweet watch

I love these releases! As a lifelong Cleveland fan I would pay a ton for a Bob Feller special edition pointer date!
That would be pretty neat!

oris could have put the baseball stitching on the crown.
Would love a Willie Mays edition next

I love the pointer dates from Oris, I just can't fathom spending 2K bucks on a watch right now, these special editions they are doing are beautiful
#CLE: Just sent Jon an email to order one for my son. Looking forward to the new Store opening, congrats.
Make the fragrance channel alive buddy
So this watch has QD spring bars for the leather strap. Does it come with extra spring bars to use with the nato?
Yes it does, or at least mine did.
Amazing design and story behind the watch. Bit steep price wise. Nonetheless beautiful piece to add. Great review ted.
Thanks for watching!
Hope you read this message Teddy. Would you give up your favorite watch for a Cleveland WS title? It's been almost 75 years
That is a really tough question as both are priceless!
The Hammer!
The immature child in me chuckled at the mention of a framed picture of Hank 'knocking one out'😂
So I gotta ask… is this in your personal collection now?
It may have snuck in there!
Won't be buying this but it's cool they made it.

The Date Pointer family is great choice for an everyday watch that can be dressed up with the change of the strap.
@@TeddyBaldassarreReviews Thank you Teddy. I really appreciate your advice
Hm, I was wondering what the red line at the 44 mark means 🙄😂
It is a neat way to pay tribute to Hank isn't it?
@@TeddyBaldassarreReviews the most neat way 😂
Dope
Nice watch. but the disfigured "10" kinda ruins it.
Not a fan of baseball but this is a good looking watch (minus the case back) ! 🫰
