@@mannymacias1634 yes, you can. I recommend going to the Giant bike stores in either Onomichi or imabari depending on where you want to start and end your bike route

If you plan to stay on any of the island's in the middle like me (Ikuchijima) the accommodation is few and far between & if you show up without something booked ahead of time, there may not be anything. You can check but everything may be booked up since you're only a few days out. My best recommendation would be to stay in imabari and Onomichi and finish the Shimanami Kaido in one day. @@ba1428 hey Thanks for your comment. The last island, Mukaishima, has a little ferry literally called "ferry to onomichi" if you type it in on google you'll find it. Only costed like 100-200 yen. You can pay on arrival. I think they leave and come back every 15 minutes. Hope this helps
