Tee is set up wrong if you are really trying to learn how to consistently hit the ball to the opposite field. You got it set up catching the ball early, out in front, which is obviously for down the middle and inside pitches. Outside pitch you want to catch it deeper in the zone, letting the ball travel. Move the tee back for the outside pitch. Learning to hit the outside pitch like this off the tee, come game time against real pitching its going to be rollover city most likely hitting the top of the baseball.
