Awesome show GSU! The DM's intro was sloppy though, because they weren't in sync together.
MAAAN THEM ANNOUNCERS WERE LIT AF!!! lol (reminds me of a Mardi Gras Ball) I loved it. This drill was dope and the band had me crunk the whole dance routine 🤩🤣😂🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🙌🏼 Nice Job GRAMBLING STATE UNIVERSITY🐯🐅◼️🔶◼️

I've been around a long time, I've seen many half time shows all over the country, Grambling has the best marching band and half time show in the country.
By the way Grambling is in a cocoa cola commercial shooting today just another accomplishment from the Grambling band

They show was straight. It was pretty much what you expect from a Grambling field show but what the hell was up with the drum majors and the damn announcer's
Amos Johnson they messed up their intro ok. I've seen every swac band drum major mess up it happened but they performed well DURING THE SHOW but that is never noticed

I used to think that GSU was so much better than the juke…and then I grew up…lol. Southern’s band and dancing dolls are just next level. The class, grace, and style is on whole other level. So, let me ask, does GSU and Orchesis ever win the battle of the bands?

I agree. When SU travels to Jackson, SU will help fill up Memorial stadium.
Yet, SU have played Alcorn and Valley State at Memorial Stadium. Both times, the stadium barely had fans.
Moreover, JSU, when playing SU at Mumford Stadium in Baton Rouge, the stadium is always sold out.
When SU plays Alcorn or Valley at Mumford Stadium, you can always and easily buy a ticket.
It works both ways.
Su has more brass that's why quit comparing sound to these two we all know SU is louder

Actually, a lot of Mississippians will travel to New Orleans to party during the weekends.
The announcer was drowning out the band, I counldn't finish watching the video. DM need to practice more. Good overall show.
This is the Classic and I think the drum majors could have been a little more in sync kind of sloppy intro for them. The band sound good what little you could hear. So are they showcasing the band or the big mouth announcer he was awful???!!!
If it wasn't for those loud dudes with the mics, this could of been a real good show. It's like trying to hear your favorite tune in the car and the DJ doesn't stop talking all through the song.. JS

Louis elie Are you sure about that Tank the singer just gave SU props for playing his song he talked very highly of SU its on Instagram not only Tank a lot of the singer's give SU props for playing their music like Bruno Mars and the women how sing (weekend) she loves the way Southern plays it now those words came from her, don't get me wrong I'm not saying Grambling sound bad because they don't they have improved a lot over the years to be honest with you but can you tell me what is the latest recognition Grambling have gotten over the last couple of years not being funny I'm just curious
Viveca Pope SU fan 4 life Viveca Pope Grambling just got props earlier this season from Teddy Riley for performing my perogitive on the field vs Jackson. Teddy Riley himself shouted them out on Instagram. Last I checked being loud doesnt equate too u being a better band.

60 years of observation speaking:
All SWAC bands are outstanding.
I think the old FAMU bands were difficult to out duel.
As a Hebrew Israelite and a father and husband of three swac alums, the swac is where it's at.
During the 70's, a lot of the historically white schools would not play the swac schools. Why? They assume the swac had better talent and they did not want a lost on it's record.
I recall JSU in the 70's beating the University of Oregon.
I recall Grambling defeating a Pac 12 school.
Lastly, why is it when, Hebrew Israelites (black bands) play white schools; it's band announcers are always soft and humble towards the white schools? The same should occur when PVU plays TSU and etc.
Those (black band instigators) announcers, sounds like gang members.
Why not just show brotherly love, so that our youth can observe and learn.....
DAMMIT man GSU them Drum Majors must of just learned that shit in the parking lot behind the buses they were out of sync and them announcers were way to loud but overall that dance routine was lit 🔥🔥🔥 dang southern what happened I was routing for you we all was routing for you in my Tyra Voice 🤣🤣🤣

In my former profession, I was able to ****see**** intentional racism.
I was able to ****see **** bad managers terminated.
I love all bands.
The previous year or two, I was able to ****see****that SU had done a better performance than GSU.

Hence, I have ****seen**** HBCU bands since, 1969.
I recall because our teacher, an HBCU alum; told us the Supremes were separating in 1969.
