Just got the snare trap- it worked great for a few beats then somehow the snare is oscillation super fast and is unable to be reset- in tap mode a long press of the black button doesn’t reset it, and unplugging it back it starts up with the fast oscillation and doesn’t respond to beat inputs etc
The gold standard of what's possible with the snare trap! Any tips on using the sq-1 to trigger it? I can't tell if I'm just unhappy with what the sq-1 can do in this context, or (more likely) I'm just not setting it up correctly. Grids looks like a fun add-on though, that might have to be my first foray into eurorack...
Thanks! Rainger actually uses an SQ-1 to test Snare Traps when they're building them, so it should be compatible. I haven't personally used an SQ-1 very much, but I do find Grids and similar modules to be a more enjoyable way to sequence drums.
@@galenbundy4022 I actually just confirmed my fears that my issues were user error 🤦♂️ I need to use the gate outputs on the sq-1 with the duty knob below 2:00. Any higher than that on the duty knob and snare trap stops triggering, at least on the bass drum. Now the fun can begin! I am interested in grids though, might need to pick one eventually…
What an incredibly niche device. I'd screw with it but for $200 less than an SP404mk2 just get the 404. More inputs and flexibility in general. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED O THE FX!
Killer demo buddy...a BOATLOAD of work must have gone into this...very in depth and all demos should be so thorough..great work man 🤘😁🎸🎶
thank you for this demo , i totally understand the potential of the drum trap pedal 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
This pedal is awesome! Great demo! It sounds so good!
2min in and I'm checking my bank account 😂
Yoo great demo

Someone is a pedal junky...
But with excellent tastes.
Hands down the best demo of this pedal.

@@hghalo I solved a couple of my own issues this morning, see my reply to Galen below in case it’s helpful!
This is the coolest - hoping you make an album? industro/experimental - brilliant demo - gives hope to my soul.
Thanks! Check out galenbundy.bandcamp.com/album/lo-fi-music-to-have-a-mental-breakdown-to for the album!
MIDI out?
Was waiting for Billie Jean to start
Right?

You can tap on it with your foot though 0:
Absolutely ridiculous. They come out of nowhere with real time feel adjustment *per note* on a PEDAL?! How
Seems to be a 1 trick pony with that trap beat, though. Too bad it doesn't do a more analog 80s synth drum beat
The drums are analog. Only the noise source is digital. Which is pretty common.
Meh?!
