I have the Blue 2020 Carmel. And yes I love taking my dog for a ride. She loves it. You forgot to mention it stops on a dime. Better braking than anything I ever drove or rode. The brakes will through you threw the windshield if you're not wearing your seat belt.
You have answered the ULTIMATE question for me....Does it fit tall guys?! 👀 I'm 6'6 and want to buy a couple of those Vanderhalls for myself..sooo I'm going to go test drive one TODAY!!
Yep...went and bought the 2021 Vanderhall Carmel in Jean Grey...dealer is waiting for the title so I can bring her home.

The VH is the only 3 wheel vehicle I'd consider purchasing if I were in the market for such a vehicle! The styling is awesome!
But, I can't afford more than two vehicles - so, truck and SG are it.

I want one now. Man, explaining to wife will be the interesting part. What is nice is it has three wheels instead of two. This may help me out lol

I really like the looks of it but the Slingshot has a much wider girth giving rider and passenger a lot more cabin space than the VH. Watch the video of the VH on Jay Leno's Garage. There's Jay and another full size man in it and their shoulders are touching the whole time , cabin just a little narrow on the VH.
The Slingshot's cabin is wider, the Vanderhall's longer. I've test driven both and only the VH worked out (I'm 6'6"). It gets a bit intimate width wise so just make sure you got the right person in the passenger seat 😜

I like the Vanderhall. I own a 2021 Slingshot R and there is tons if room. We all have different likes and dislikes, what ever you get, ENJOY it, that's what the autoclave is all about.
Soon as I get me a job going again and been there for 9 months I am going to try for one of these Vanderhauls sound like it would be
economical; I really wish it shifted like a motorcycle and had a decent trunk .
I would want an enclosed canopy for a rainy day.

Faster and better ride than a Slingshot. Has heated seats, air conditioning, and a turbo. I'd get to still ride with my motorcycle groups and my back wouldnt hurt like two hours on my Suzuki Boulevard M109 BOSS does. It's a half second faster to 0-60 than my Porsche Cayman S. Oh and the VH gets 40mpg. It's also not so plastic looking like the slingshot, and I like Polaris. I own an RZR.

I am shocked you fit so well in that thing. I'm also a big guy at about 6'3 265 and I was standing next to one today and didn't see myself fitting in it comfortably. The owner was a little itty bitty feller, and I thought yeah that makes sense. After seeing you in it... perhaps I was mistaken.
That's nice they need to let you test it for a year.

Good review. Like you I don't like the 3-wheelers, except the expensive Morgan and now this one. Came here from the Jay Leno interview. The Vanderhall founder is a big guy, well over 6', so surely he wouldn't design and build something that wouldn't fit him.
They need to make the interior room about 6 inches wider, two normal size adults rub shoulder to shoulder. Check out the Jay Leno video of this car , he and the owner/ designer go for a spin in one and their arms were overlapping and they looked crammed into it... but they are cool looking and just need to be wider. As always Traveling Tall good video..
The Carmel is wider than the one Jay drove.

I have a suggestion..
Most every motorcycle video on RUclips is shot from the rider's perspective so we the channel view get to look at your handlebars and gauges for the entirety of the ride.
Boring
Get a friend or family member with a second camera for a point of view of you riding.
A second camera or "B-Roll" would let us see you and your bike/ride from other angles.
This would have your channel stand out from the rest.

I like that a lot more than the Polaris Slingshot, but then again, I don't like the Slingshot at all. This looks like fun.
It's a very cool looking vehicle. You should have seen the looks that I was getting. Maybe because I was laughing and smiling so much. I'm sure it was a sight to see!

Nicer than the slingshot. Sounds better than the slingshot. But no manual transmission? Then I'd have to get the slingshot...

So it’s push to start so basically if you leave it in a parking lot it will get stolen
I own one and I live in Sevierville TN . The only problem with driving one at a good pace is the back end will brake loose because 70% of the weight is in the front. So you have to aware of it get on the gas and it pull it straight.
How is the reliability. Seen a lot of bad talk, but I'm in love with these
And 195 hp is just enough for its weight.
Be nice if they later on come out with an 6 cylinder version.

It's the cost that gets ya.35 grand seems kinda high
