    Also another word of advice, if you don't want the car to sound loud and raspy, DO NOT put on a header. Just giving you a heads up now. Jason Nguyen has a lot of good content regarding modding the 3IS and has a video where he installs headers.

    Obviously your car won't sound exactly like this but you'll get an idea of what having headers will sound like

    4 cylinder comes in IS300 RWD which pushes 240HP while the AWD comes with the 6 cylinder and pushes around 255. My guess is to account for the added weight of the AWD? I could be wrong though. Can barely hear you though so you should get a proper mic and filter to speak through. Just letting you know that RSR tuning is a waste of money. It doesn't do much for performance, doesn't give you any pops and burbles, doesn't do a whole lot. Go watch some other videos on RUclips before buying.

      Yes your right. And which tuner would you recommend? I want reliability but at the same time I do want some pops and burbles. And the car to match is350 hp. Thinking on mforce but still kind of nervous lol. And yes my next youtube video i will have a better mic for sure just got that new mic setup :)

      AWD comes with 260hp.

    How come you didn’t get an is350 instead?

    • @DrivenByZee
      @DrivenByZee  Месяц назад +1

      One of the main reason was the price and knowing its the same motor as the is350 (2GR FKS) which is detuned from factory didnt made sense for me to pay that extra 5k when you can tune the car for around $500-$700 and make it slightly faster then is350.

      @@DrivenByZee Sadly… I hate to tell you i’ve been in the Lexus game for almost 7 years. I owned is250, is300, and now currently a is350 but when tuning a lexus you can’t tune it and make it have 10hp+ it’s a NA engine no turbo or nothing. The least you’ll gain is only 5hp+ unless you have PPE headers, aftermarket midpipe, and axleback. You’ll probably gain at least 10hp+. The is350 is atleast 50hp-60hp more than an is300. To gain more on a is300 to go beyond the is350 you’ll either need to go boosted which is no point of doing unless you have the money. Yeah Lexus are amazing, reliable, looks sexy, and really fun to drive but they don’t have potential performance like Infinite, honda, or other brands with high aftermarket parts.
      I rather not waste money on a tune on a Lexus you won’t gain much but you’ll feel a slight difference like a tiny bit that’s all. From experience btw😅
      Goal right now is to get an ISF, RCF, or a GSF👏🏼

      @@RonDaG0atI own the 300 AWD. Got pulled over twice for speeding. The car just kicks for a 260hp car. I don’t need the 350. Maybe if I were into racing but for daily driving the 300 AWD is sufficient.

    • @RonDaG0at
      @RonDaG0at Месяц назад +1

      @@nbafan3021 Yeah of course both cars are amazing but I was wondering why didn’t he want a IS350 they’re almost the same price and you can also find some that are the same price or a cheaper is350. It’s nice that it’s a AWD IS300 though but he commented saying that he can tune the is300 and make it slight faster than the is350 but that right there is not facts. These Lexus tunes will not make your car gain more than 15hp+ unless you go crazy boosted which cost a lot of money to gain atleast 150hp+ not really worth it unless you have extra money for fun. But yeah both cars are sufficient👍🏼

      Really debating on that but at the same time I also want some burbles or some pops 😂 but lets see :)
