One of the best series I've seen in ages. The last episode was deeply emotional, especially when he sits on the dock and remembers the girl.
I wish I was as articulate as him, can listen to him talking for hours.
You can get there with practice. Start in front of a mirror.
No disrespect to the late GREAT GREAT Gandolfi i but Turtorro was born to play that role...he was perfect
Turtorro should’ve won Best Actor, not Ahmed
His voice is so soothing damn
the story behind the show it's just as amazing as the show himself
He has the most beautiful eyes!
Sexist comment
Thanks dear
One more person in this World who hasn't watched Breaking Bad. I'll be honest & say, I don't feel so alone 😁
More to the point...I'm so very very impressed by Riz Ahmed. Such a force of determination, tenacity & resilience. A really great role model.
I've only just watched this drama. BEST DRAMA SERIES EVER!!!.... Well done to all the cast!!
little miss sunshine True Detective tops it for me but both great
"The Night Of" was such an amazing show!!
Great fucking actor. Amazing show too.
This is one of the best drama series of all time. It has a special tone and way of looking at things that keeps drawing you in. The camera work is exceptional. The performances are deeply moving. Indelible.
Incredible.
I didnt know James gandolfini originally played John stone, tbh I’m glad they went with John turturo
The show was so good. Thank goodness HBO picked it up
I can't agree more. At least 5 out of 10 best series of all time have aired on HBO.
Love Riz, he was amazing in The OA
What a man
Riz Ahmed, what an incredible & talented artist... He is THE AVATAR of an Brilliant Character Actor.... Intelligent.. Insightful... Intense.
Really great acting and the show was really good!!...hopefully there will be a season 2 and like 'The killing" won't be cancelled.
there won't be a season 2 LOL...it was an 8 part series for a reason. the show is called "the night of"....meaning its about ONE NIGHT. only so far they can go.
The series was much more than one night. Naz was in Rikers about 4-6 months. There actually might be a second series with John Turturro on a different case. Never say never.
There was a very long time span between the initial Gandolfini pilot being filmed (Dec 2012), hiring John T and the actually airing. Riz said the series actually took nearly half of his 10 year acting career. Riz dedicated 5 years to this series! I can understand him not wanting to do a second series. A series doesn't end when it's finally aired, there's promotion, interviews etc.
Over the past few months, in order to get EMMY noms, the cast have done yet another series of TNO panel interviews. Apparently, their work on this series is not quite done, lol
Qazi Rabbi it's a limited series
@@dananezat sorry for jumping in 4 years later. The UK series it was based on actually have 2 seasons with a second season telling a new story with new characters, kinda like the True Detective, and it was a critical success.
@@VladDImpalaDumb a hell is a limited série. Is over
realy is amazing
Me when he says he hasn't watched breaking bad: :O
did not know the story behind this wow
Respect to Richard Price.
Riz could do whatever he wanted to me whenever he wanted and i would ask for more.

Moo op okkmkknk phone

This guy is so talented.
Had no idea that was his speaking voice. Wow.
@wolf_biter. *Yes, Riz is British, born in London. In this series, he did a very convincing Queens NY accent. In interviews, he did at the time this series was first aired on HBO, he talked about how he got the correct NY accent, he spent time with college students in Queens NY.*
@@VladDImpala I was born and raised in Queens and did not question this man was from Queens for a second in that series. I’m still recommending this series to people.
Amazing TV???
I think he could have played Freddie Mercury.
Bruhh it's amazing show but show us who killed herrr
@user-kj3sk5bz3b. *The series was not actually about 'who' killed the young woman, however, by the end of the series, it was pretty much revealed who killed her. The series was more about how a certain segment of society is treated by the police and the incompetence of the entire investigation. There were so many flaws in the investigation, which savvy viewers could easily figure out from the very beginning, most viewers knew the main character did NOT kill the young woman.*
My guess is Robert De Niro was asking for too much money.
@yokiryuchan7655 *Not true, DeNiro was already committed to another project when he was asked to replace the late James Gandolfi. John Turturro was excellent in this, it was not a loss that DeNiro wasn't available. Turturro should have shared the Best Actor EMMY with Riz, they both should have won.*
@@VladDImpala agreed John Turturro was better anyway
I understand why the pilot was not picked up . The pilot was so terrifying , it took be 3 sittings to finish it . I never feared for someone life .
