This platinum was absolutely INSANE and it truly made it a better experience without using assist mode and doing it with a friend!
Now that I finally uploaded this video, I can start SIFU’s platinum journey, so everyone be prepared for that! I have been putting in the work when it comes to editing because my new year resolution was to catch up on videos I was behind on (celeste video being one of them. Yes... I have multiple)

the collaborative nature of this video made it go from fun to an absolute fRICKing masterpiece. seeing you pop off with your new friend as he beat 7C and 8C and him popping off as you did so reminded me of some of the best moments ive had in this community. being able to experience a challenging game in this way is truly, unimaginably special and it almost made me cry a little bit.

You’re right! I had Farewell set up for the video, but it was to long to keep, so I just left it out
I have 135 hours in celeste and man you kind of struggled on some of them like it took me about 30mins - 1 hour to beat summit c side (on keyboard with default controls)
Farewell and space/golden berrys time mate you suffering isn't over(spoiler alert farewell takes atleast 10hours to beat ;))

Wait, so do the PS Trophies not take Farewell or the Moon Berry into account at all...? I can understand not really including Goldens, but I figured those two would count for something.
...Unless PS Trophies and Platinums usually exclude DLC content. If so, then I didn't really know about that.

Playstation in fact does not take farewell and moonberry into account, but because it was HEAVILY requested, I did it anyways! Check out the part 2 I just made to see me beat farewell and get the moonberry!

Hardest platinum is either “enter the gungeon,” Hollow knight,” or “trials rising!”
I wonder if getting all of the B-side goldens would be harder than those...
I'm going to contact Sony and make them add a Truly Impress Your Friends trophy where you have to get all 202 berries (also the playstation trophies dont include chapter 9 and the moon berry, which are both achievements on all the other platforms. I recommend a separate video for chapter 9 cause it might take you a while if you want to do it)

they do mention in the plat guide that assist mode turns it from an extremely hard platinum into a 2/10
me accidentally getting platinum on this just proves it is 2/10

they do, but I personally only look at the difficulty, hours, and playthroughs when looking up a guide. so do most people, but yeah, you are 100% correct

there is no trophy on playstation for that, sadly. but he did beat farewell, you can check that on his old streams if you want
