We love Cubo. You can get Cubo with a tall floor stand that holds Cubo above the cot and also a cot attachment that attaches directly to the cot if you don’t want to mount to a wall.
As so many have already said, you both have a lovely parenting style. I love seeing Bowie still being nursed at his age. It’s a great health benefit to mommy and baby. It can be difficult in the beginning for some women, but once breastfeeding becomes second hand it really make life wonderful and truly helps bond mommy and baby for a lifetime. Also, love how you listen and react to Bowie so naturally. Too much information is thrown to new moms about a child’s behavior which is enough to make anyone’s head spin. You both seem to be really in touch with Bowie’s cues to understand his needs and always with love which is the secret to guiding and disciplining a growing child. Quite inspiring! Love the jars you use for food storage - would love to know which brand you use as I have found so many that don’t seal as tight as yours seems to. Also love the vid. So fun to watch your family evolve

So after his 1st birthday the plan was to cut out that midnight feed… instead of me getting up in the night and feeding him back to sleep, my husband would go in and take him into our spare bed and cuddle him back to sleep for the night. it wasn’t as rough as we thought it would be! literally after 3 nights he was sleeping through until 5am. Still the occasional rough night if he’s teething or sick, but otherwise he sleeps 6:30pm till 5:30am. i think once he broke the habit of waking for a feed he stopped waking up at all 🤷🏼♀️ we thought it would be really hard but it wasn’t too bad at all in our experience.
Thank you! That makes sense, I think my little man is just in the habit! I don’t plan to stop the night feed yet but it’s great to hear there’s a light at the end of the tunnel for sleep! Especially in this way where he’s not alone crying! I really appreciate the reply!!
Does he have other lunch or the snacks platter was lunch? I didnt quite get what he eats for lunch and was curious to see! He is so cute!! My boy is only 1 month older Xx
yeah usually there’s one of our tooth brushes in the shower and he plays with it in his mouth. We haven’t fully set up a good teeth brushing routine with his own brush and paste yet, need to work on it haha.
yeah generally the snack plate for lunch. he kinda has 2 small breakfasts and morning tea before his nap so we try not to overfill him after his nap because he was having another BF and then wasn’t hungry for dinner 😊
I'm always so surprised when seeing australian cots. In Germany there are usually paddings to tie around the walls so the baby can't hit their head or so it's more cozy in generall. But I think thats a cultural difference depending on the country :D
In the US - I believe they banned all bumpers (the paddings) to put in the cribs! They stress to us absolutely nothing should be in the crib with them. Crazy, right?!

Did you guys do sleep training?
yes! we followed guidance from the sleep teacher. we opted for a gentle and slow approach. it made such a difference for us and bowies sleep 🙏🏼
