- With digital equipment and computer it is relatively easy to make timelapse videos. The Sony AX53 can take a maximum of 900 pictures in timelapse mode, then just reset it and take another 900 and so on. I use 10 second interval for the shots.
Can it do 24h time-lapse?
Nice time lapse. I also own the Sony AX-53 camcorder but I don't see anywhere on it, or on instructions, that say how to take the timed individual pictures to be able to download and make the time lapse movie. IOW, how do you set the camera up to do so?

@@JCVdude It doesn't make the video onboard in the camcorder?
While looking at this my inquiring mind would ask .... are the clouds standing still & the earth is moving ??
Considering the direction of perceived cloud movement I would say Yes !
I still i dont get the smoothness u do in your timelapse video by using playmemories/1,5 hour-5 second interval clip and 4k format...Is it some camera settings i dont know about?
I tried to take 300-350 pictures with 1 second intervals today with my new Sony AX53,but i didnt get smooth video when i tried that setting...is this video the solution,10 second intervalls,900 pics?
usually i use 5 or 10 seconds for the 900 shots
@@JCVdude Thats gonna take some hours....;)
These are pictures taken at intervals then how do you turn into a video
computer and Sony playmemories does it, I've shown it in videos before, I will do so again.
@@JCVdude Finally!
I've been searching for hours on how to get Playmemories to make a time lapse vid from my relatively newly acquired AX53 and be able to manipulate in VP 17 : )
I will search for your tuts but if I have issues I may be back to bug you some more...thanks very much!
lovely vids but I can't find the tuts...can you provide links por favor?
@@CrystalClearNM I am so pissed off with this camera I wish I could return fo a full refund.
it's ok, but the music is crap. It doesn't fit the clouds and nature genre. For that reason I quit watching. Nice footage and an ok presentation though. Cheers...
