Play the top win rate decks not what youtubers or streamers play because half the time they are playing fun decks
The actual secret of getting a good rank is grind, being good surely helps, but grind is like 70% of your succes, it's like that in almost every game that has a ranked system, a good deck has like 60-70% win rate(not sure, maybe more), so of course you need luck and hella grind to get a good rank, kibler's job is to play hs, of course he's in a good rank, could've had a better one if he played meta decks aswell, but he plays for fun.
@@Alex-qn3cw not much sense in grinding if you can't get >50% winrate tho. Join the dark side, play a tier 1 deck
@@missingn0o play a tier 1/2 deck,preferably a fast one like aggro so you grind less,learn how the deck work and how to mulligan on certain matchup,and grind alot, i've done the first 4 tips and got from 18 to 10 in 5 hours with aggro hunter when ungoro just released,and decided to stop there because its not that fun for me
its gonna be harder to climb from 10 to 5,and way more harder to climb from 5 to legend,thats why you need to grind alot,like a LOT

Take a look at Asmodeus's tutorials too! Kibler is great to learn by watching, but it's helpful to learn the theory :)

Playing a lot of quest mage in both standard and wild has taught me that refraining from playing the quest turn 1 could have a lot of benefits, especially when apprentice is in hand along with cyclone. Something to think about, could've gotten an extra spell in this game.
While that's true, it also limits your options. You're then forced into playing the quest before other cards. Basically its definitely right some times, but overall it limits what you can do in your early turns for the benefit of a single extra spell that your deck pumps out anyway

I really do think flare should just counter any secret because it's clearly supposed to be a hunter advantage considering it's in the classic set, yet it's not just mage, a lot of new secrets are starting to trigger before flare, and the card is becoming less and less useable in it's one job. It's not like hard-coded exceptions are unusual in the game, like jarraxus.
