Yes of course i didn't think of that well done. I thought they were motorbike batteries Thanks for pointing that out to me and thanks for watching the video
OH MY GOSH that's a MIGHTY BIG COLLECTION on everything.....EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, you have really worked very very hard towards this CHALLENGE ......BIG THUMBS UP TO YOU .....Mr.K :D great video Thank You ! :)
Im from the UK Terri I noticed you call them cords. But we call them leads here and I guess everyone knows what I'm talking about. Scrapping really is s lot of fun.
Hi in the UK it is illegal to do that until the fridge unit has been de gassed by an authorized dealer. It costs more to de gas the fridge unit than the copper is worth. I hope that answers your Question
Thanks Gary that's very much appreciated. I'm in lockdown in the Philippines at the moment so unable to make any videos but as soon as I get out of here I will make lots more. Thanks for watching
If you headed out the copper pipe you would get a better price anything with solder or paint would go as dirty copper pipe and the clean pipe is clean copper pipe
Because that roll of cable wasn't planted lol, the "wow" sounds like your kids just brought you a shiny stone professing it to be gold.... I'm now watching for the comedy value lol.
Dang! Ur steel prices are better than ours I only get $90 a gross ton in my area. On that first haul u had I would have gotten abt $25 or so . Those combie. Boilers? . great payday
I'm in Australia and my scrap yard would have paid about £6 for that first load. 5c kg so 12 Australian dollars. The price is so bad, I don't pick up scrap steel, only the good stuff
@CCscraps - it sucks the steel price is so low. I used to get 15c kg which still wasn't great. Prices here are better on the other side of the country, Sydney and Melbourne I believe have better prices. I'm currently getting $4.80 kg for brass so try to find as much of that as I can. I'm doing a run to the yard today
This is my (possibly imperfect) understanding of the law. It remains the property of the person who threw it out until such time as collected by the collector. From that moment on it is the property of the person collecting it. If it is dumped at a Council landfill it becomes the property of the council. When selling resin drives door to door, if a skip was on a public road and I could see copper, brass or lead in it, I always just dived straight in. If it was on a driveway I would _always_ knock on the door out of courtesy and ask if it was OK for me to take stuff. Not that this ever happened, but had I been challenged by the police I would have politely offered to return any items to the skip. I doubt Plod would be particularly concerned though, as they would probably just regard it as rubbish.
@@carmo69 I sell my personal scrap to my local scrapyard. They just asked for name and address and they get your bank details as default as they pay directly into your account.

Good afternoon to you :) really good cash in yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :D
It really was s good weigh in and good fun
Hi, do you need to ask permission before scavenging in a skip?
Not that I'm aware of. As far as im concerned it's being thrown away.
This is my (possibly imperfect) understanding of the law. It remains the property of the person who threw it out until such time as collected by the collector. Thanks Bob you have been entered into the competition

Hi don't you need a licence to scrap metal?
Hi Eddy yes you do you can get one from you local council. Mine was £365 for the first year but other councils are much cheaper
@@123kerrison 365 pounds ! ? ! Jeezers !
As a business yes. Not quite sure what classes as a business though.
@@philtowle4683 I believe that if you are going to sell to a scrap yard they will not buy from you, if you are not registered (licence).
@@carmo69 I sell my personal scrap to my local scrapyard. They just asked for name and address and they get your bank details as default as they pay directly into your account.
