In The Republic, Plato recommends against having actors as part of the social fabric as their mimickry, mimesis in the OG, would lead to false beliefs and dishonesty. Meaning, IMHO, actors, as part of their work, and the audience, believe what is being performed in the moment. This belief in falsehoods is the thin end of the wedge for Plato. What we believe is what we live. I really enjoy your work. Do you have any thoughts on the YT channels who use AI to falsely represent Neville's actual lectures. I was enjoying them until the AI Neville spoke about podcasts. Nope, no thanks. I will stick with the written word and with sources like you.
I don’t watch nor listen to anything about this topic on RUclips. I simply read Neville’s work. I create my own videos conveying my thoughts/experiences on this topic but I do not listen to anyone else in this platform. There are AI channels that take my work and falsely represent my work. I just ignore it and continue speaking. So I would say to stick to Neville’s work in written form, his books etc. Maybe find actual humans that resonate with you. But always remember that you do not need to go outside of yourself to change your world.
Your dailies are really good to listen to Edward. This one is particularly helpful. What about "Series 2: Parts 1-8"? I was following that series. Will there be a Part 9, or is the series concluded?
I ask myself, what's the alternative? If everything is a choice, what do I choose to focus my attention on? I have done small "tests" before when I've not had the faith... and I would create small imaginal scenes then drop them, just about things I am not attached to receiving, like for example someone reaching out to me that hasnt in a long time. And it's worked every single time. That restores my faith 🙌🏼
You don't have to feel faith. Faithfulness is action. You just do practices you enjoy, and make statements of what you wish were true. You loyally follow the you that you wish you were. You can even affirm that being faithful is easy for you. Basically you keep your promise to yourself. Faith does not equal belief.
Hi , ed in the video you said neville used to imagine at once and then drop it. But one of his words were 'i did it , im doing it , ill continue to do it that which i assumed till it externalise in my world ' can you explain this ?
It's about frequency. You do prayer and drop the act of praying after hitting the satisfaction point. Now you do prayer sessions again and again and again to the point of actual manifestation. You can pray once a day, but is supposed to do it every single day. This is persistence and not trying to fake pray 24×7.
