Incredible quality for a 2009 video
Thanks for that TripleSeven! Yeah, been a few years now since that was filmed!
Appreciate the kind words!
Regards, Glen ☺️👍
I got to give you guys creds for taking a trailer places most people wouldn't take their own rigs much less a trailer. Some of the gutsiest offroad stuff anywhere on the net.
Have a good skill and right car
You gotta love those Aussie main roads.
I'm from Finland, wish you guys a happy.🎂
Thats one hell of a rig! Gotta love the cape as well
Those Toyotas are a beast
Certainly a strong vehicle that one Lisa!!! Was put through the paces!
Glad to see talent like this on the scene! keep doin ya thing!
We love seeing trucks struggle and overcome it shows the tenacity and spirit of the truck to not be defeated
Amazing performance from the Toyota - and some excellent driving of course too!
Good to see the cruiser doing what is is made for, not being the flash school bus, great clip.
Love It!!! These guys are awesome.... My kinda people. I wanna move to Australia so Bad... I love the Great USA and Love Alabama, but I'd leave it all to live there.... Great Video and Awesome driving Skills!!! I want to come play with y'all....
You guys are nuts, that was insane!
Thanks for that mate! And you're probably right too!!! ☺️ Thanks again!
Que buen excursión !! Excelente saludos desde Patagonia Argentina !!!
Talk about guys that hate being around crowds, you guys are awesome...
I love it when people have no idea what their talking about. Toyota still makes some good off road rigs.
That Land Cruiser did 1 hell of a job.
It sure did mate! Thanks for the note! 👍
So nice! Amazing! We are just dreaming o drive such a car :D
Hey guys… 2023 here, building a 1976 road ranger camper from the bones in America. Best piece you can put on it to make it last? Because I don’t think there’s another video out there like yours.🤣🤣🤣 cheers, my friends
Hey Big Willybaybay!!! Regards back to 2023....!!! Sounds like you've got a good project on the go with that! And would start with the 'bones' itself! The chassis, suspension and wall frames certainly determine the longevity of the camper for sure! Hot dipped galvanised (galvanized - US) chassis, an interlocked aluminium frame with solid steel punch pins is the construction of the Kedrons, and been incredibly strong.
Difficult with a rebuild as the bones are already in place, though with so much product and innovations since, there would be a great deal of components in a light weight that would increase the strength, use and function of the camper for sure, and be up to how you'd like to personalise it to suit how you're going to travel.
Hope it all comes together great, and you enjoy it when complete!
All the best and regards over to the USA from Australia!
That's an amazing Video production, not surprised by the amount of views!
I agree! I like to how this driver knows how to push the truck to it's limits but also at the same time does not go out of his way to abuse the truck.... that's how all 4x4 drivers should treat their rigs off road.
"Camper trailer for sale - barely used - looks like new!"
Rich Gilberto female owned! Lmao
LOL! 😂😂😂
@@peterharrald2024 What is a "very little money" in there case? I've done a big loop last year, in Lexus sedan, small tent and caravan parks, on my own. Less than 2 months later, I was $12000 lighter. Try to put a smallest tent in Broome area under $50 a night. Average around a country is about $35-40. You do it in winter time, of course. Dark falls around 5pm. Than you go to pub and burn the money or stay in dinning area at caravan park, read a book, put up with annoying backpackers while drinking a whiskey and freeze your arse. The pub option worked very well till I realised that education is not for free. Still, Can't wait to do it again.
Upgraded. special suspension with a twist. And very hot motor only smokes a bit after 1 trip. 👍
Respect from Russia! You are beautiful! A camper and an SUV above all praise!
Thank you very much Dmitry!!! 👍 Appreciate the kind words and regards over to Russia from Australia! Thanks again, Glen ☺️
That toyota is dope,,,and has awesome horsepower
Like 300
This would make a good Toyota commercial, that little truck is badass!
I really enjoyed this. Thanks so much!
Very good driving. Just the right momentum and good line.
Hell yea!! boys! Toyota power and cold beers! 2 ya! cheers!!!
I had a 1980 Toyota 4x4 pickup bought new..offroaded a lot. I had it for12 years. actually sold and bought it back twice. The speedometer had 310,000 miles on it and the speedometer was broken for 3 years. It was rusted up to the windshield. It sat in my yard for a year before I decided to give it its last rites. Got in it and it started like I had been running it everyday. Drove it off to the crusher. Wish I still had it. It could go where these guys are going.
Thought I was nuts!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
oyr
I don't care what anyone says that Yota is a beast for not only going where a a lot of vehicles could not dream about going let alone doing it all while towing a camper!
Agreed. As a Sequoia owner, ya gotta kinda wind the rpms up for power. But I do OK w/a 26', 7k+ pound boat. But I prefer my Hemi truck's TQ, but it does have 1100CCs on the toy. And the Toy has a much better suspension, just a lot more money to lift or make heavier duty.
Dad! Where are the Land Cruiser's keys? I gotta go... Somewhere!
Land cruiser or its a TOYOTA
@@boyssansiro5614 Toyota Land Cruiser
Having lived in Australia for a few years I must say it has some of the best 4x4 off-roading experiences I ever had, these Gall Boys really push the limits with their trailer in tow :), love it, consider getting the full DVD, I used to have this but I think I lost it my travels.
You guys are crazy! I love it!!

explore more on mitshubishi pajero sport
the mighty 300 (4.9L inline 6) never dies my 73 F250 Ranger is the most all around capable 4x4 I have ever seen
this needs to be Toyota's next commercial ha!
These guys are fucking crazy. Taking this camper to remote places and staying there for a while & fishing is the life. True nomads
Beautiful lush landscape love it
What lush landscape?? Its being ruined by these jokers running their caravans through it.
Didn't even know you could 4x4 with a trailer.. y'all are badass!
Thanks for the note Surfside75! Enjoy your weekend!
Only a bunch of Aussies would even attempt to haul a camping trailer through that country! That Toyota must have the V-8 TD unit. It's STRONG.
Land cruiser 😳
Toyota 😀
Ooooh my God 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Superb. Couldn't stop watching. Subbed.
Looks like some one had some fun! Thanks for sharing.
I bet there's not one piece of crockery in the back of the van that's still intact!!!!!
Real men don't have crockery
thanks for fantastic movie
Y'all have entirely too much fun. Hope nobody was trying to sleep in that camper.lol
Thumbsup
RC Crawler Workbench Thanks for that mate, and very true!!! Have a great day!
RC Crawler Workbench 8
I would guess there were several straps holding everything in place too! That would’ve been one scary ride in the camper not being able to see what was coming, not that anyone was in it. 😁
I want to explore that Sandy heaven right now!!!!!!!!!
very impressive !!!
thank you guys, I've been watching this video for a long time, and this is an endless source of inspiration, I always think about it and I made myself a car that simulates how a car works real car. Although it's just a toy, I can clearly feel the excitement it brings when watching your videos. I love you guys

Off roading with trailer - I call it luxury! :-)
We have a off road ready vw beetle that would go over most terrain rather easily. We also have a camping trailer that latches to the trailer ball on the roof. The trailer reminds you of a goose neck trailer. The body is made of resin. It has all or then things that matter inside. We can turn around 360 degrees while hooked up to it. Since the beetle sits higher up, now the trailer does. We didn't know how well it would drive, ride, or handle on black top as well on the trail. Its perfect. Never got stuck and we went through some serious areas. We had a blast with our camping vw rig.
Would love to see your bug and tow in action. Pics on the net?
Lol put a huge caravan behind it and the LC still is like "wait, did you want me to tow this through all that crap? ok.. sure np :P"
That looks like so much fun. I would love to take a trip like this someday.
I Love you Toyota Land Cruiser.❤️👍
It mostly comes down to the driver. Yes, the type of truck does help but someone that does not know what their doing can get anything stuck. Notice how he whips the wheel back and forth when losing traction. This guy knows what hes doing.
Were the dishes ok after this??
That was the best one today! THANKS!
I've always thought you guys were a bit looney, having seen where you take your vans but... absolutely NO ONE can say that your product testing is inadequate!
wow, that thing is a complete beast, I'm so impressed by that little toyota right now!
those lucky ducks have the diesel version too!
Ikr I wish toyota offered their Diesel engine here in the us but noooo
It sucks cause I really want one
Dustin brad , buy it in Mexico or Guatemala 🇬🇹, they’re all over the place
Very cool video, guys. I hope one day to be able to see your beautiful country and offroad it in a Unimog!
brutalic001 i have lived in australia 6 year. İt was my paradice realy cool country. Better than usa.
Wow! You weren't afraid to take that thing anywhere... Very cool!
Unreal makes me want to do that trip again "" the hard way
Am I the only one who thinks the LC is not even thinking about the trailer? It is just moving like it has nothing on its tail. Well done JAPAN.
was the wife trying to cook breakfast in the van?
Beauty Toyota land cruise is the no 1 car nothing beats it.Power comfort on road off road reliability all in one.
very good job men respekt
I like how everytime they get stuck they switch to a nice, happy scene.
I wish I was in the back of that camper.
That's just amazing I can almost Guarantee any other make of Car would've been Towed back home. Toyota's the BEST!
That's a real punishment for the 4x4 equipments ! Great performance.Great vid !
Man I drive landrovers and I wish mine could tow like that, more than anything I have to get me a van like that one! What a way to overland!
Kedron Caravans, real off roaders. If I took my "off road" van through that it wouldn't last 5 minutes
excellent engineering from toyota
Fe ufff ueyeyuehngdtjsyj
Great vehicle, vehicle are tested in R&D plant
A tent wasnt just good enough... But is real fun to watch.
TOYOTA IS KING .WAS.KING.WILL BE KING..👍👍
Wow that's some good towing and the trailer really articulates good for not being on a pintle hitch.Very impressive
Only Toyota can do that without worrying of getting bankrupt.
Pretty sure if you weld the front and rear diff closed on a old chevy blazer or ford explorer and lift it little with bigger tires it would be able to do everything you see here. Would be cheaper to do that buying a toyota like this, since they typically run you a fortune even with 250K miles on them. People think they are made of gold.
Michael G but there are
Michael G mate in australia ford explorers and chevy blazers are considerd jokes the exporer was named the exploder pmsl i work in remote areas all over Australia and Landcruisers dominate pretty much have done for 30 years there is not a vhicle out there that has proven to do a better job some ccompaniesdid try f250s and all kinds of stuff but they all just rattled to bits ! its tough and hot out here and u need a vehicle to do the job
All I said was an explorer or blazer could do all you see here for less then half the price. Didn't say it was an all around better vehicle. People in the states want way to much for their old beat up land cruiser with star ship enterprise like miles on it.
MegaRyan123456 I'll have what she's having....
Yes Hunter is the most reliable car of Toyota. Installing the air lock gives a huge advantage on the roads.
Super cool! Great camera angles. How did you guys get such great camera angles?
I recorded it
+Muzafar Aleme Good work. You are truly to be commended here. I really liked this video.
the fact this was done with a trailer in tow makes it much more badass.
Toyota must pay to you for that reclame.
That is some insane terrain to be taking a trailer over. Very cool to watch, just happy I'm not the one towing that thing. I'll stick with my F150 and a truck tent thank you very much...
Any bloke that has a desire to do a trip like this , a word of advice , leave the misses at home unless she is a sound sheila that likes the challenge .
Kids will love it but be warned It is still 1000klm from Cairns to the top end.You are probably as far away from civilization as we know it. Its great!
Road is awful corrugated bone jarring with deep holes full of bull dust , thats the new telegraph road .The old telegraph road is the challenge of more water crossings sink holes that will leave you walking home unless you know what youre doing.Forget the caravan !
As having done this trip on bikes with my mate unassisted it is a challenge .
Two near death experiences as was struck by Taipan snake but my boot took it.
Nearly impaled through the groin by very nasty broken off tree .
Crocodile walked past our tent .That was funny.
Be safe all.
PS The welder at Seisia is good for repair work plus the locals are all friendly living in a paradise.
Sounds like a damn good time!
RC Crawler Workbench Yes it was great, very hard going in places on two wheels in soft sand with all our gear on board , did the trip on yamaha ttr 250s with long range fuel tanks. Not the fastest of machines but you cant kill them and they dont use much fuel.Still able to cruise at 80klm an hour on horrendous corrugations.:-)
john smith
great info
thanks!
My missus would be holdin the rifle at the ready mate
Would probably still be a couple of those Kedrons at Kalumbaru if I didn't fix the generator that ran the welder in 2004....Honeymoon Bay
Thanks for barracuda and nice video.
Впечатляет...
nice and I am happy that no crocs showed up and that venomous snakes did not show up. :)
try to do that in a Chevrolet, the transmission will blow out there wouldn't be a radiator left. and the camper would have flipped over.
So awesome how i hauls a boat, trailer, crew and luggage!
ムチャクチャ過ぎる!
No need for trailer equalizer for sure! Great vid boys!
Thanks very much DiorLife!!! Appreciate the note! ☺️👍
Aussie Tough! Every year, we bunch of old friends take a trip to far corners of globe where civilization has yet to reach. Nearest town / hospital/garage as high as 500km away. Snake bite? Pray allah!
Vechile of choice? LandCruiser then Patrol and sometimes the Land rover defender modded.
NO jeeps, NO german, NO Korean etc
@jrg10332 jeeps are a laughing stock here in Australia. They're half the price of LandCruisers and still can't even compete because no one here wants to die in the outback two days away from the next town because their unreliable jeep broke down. LandCruisers also dominate the high country and snowy regions of Australia. Our high country is just as rugged if not more than yours and the high country in Africa is insane. You only seem to know about how harsh your country is but you haven't seen anything like the wilderness in Australia, where if you don't plan things out and have the right gear, there is a severe chance you will die alone in the middle of nowhere and no one will ever find you. Once upon a time jeeps were incredible offroaders and you could rely on them getting you home safe, but those days are long gone. These days people who know what they're doing around the world use LandCruisers, patrols, defenders, and hiluxs.
@jrg10332 highest elevation in Africa is 5895 metres and Australia is just under 2300 metres. Not exactly flat. Australia also has all the same options North America has for buying off-road vehicles and still refuse to buy American because they suck. The richest middle eastern countries all buy Toyotas and Nissans as well and put them through their paces. No one outside of North America thinks Jeeps are any good these days, but Asia, the middle east, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, South Pacific countries, Russia and South America love LandCruisers, and will buy a LandCruiser over a keep when given the choice. All of these places have much harsher land than North America.
I will put my 68 blazer with my Cummins 4bt dynatrac Dana 60s and 40" micky Thompson Baja claws against any Toyota any day.
@@rickdunbar2319 Sure you can set vehicles up to climb big hills, but live in harsh Australian outback with it for a year, loaded up and doing real work day in day out, and watch your vehicle fall apart. Mate we've tried them all, these hold up the best.
Noel Charlie my diesel and drive train are stronger and more reliable than anything that Toyota has ever built.it hasn't been in the outback YET but we spent 3 months in cairns and 8 months in Peru.now don't get me wrong Toyota makes a stout reliable vehicle.but with some thought and money you can build something that far exceeds any factory vehicle.
I am literally in love with your toyota and RV I wanna take them out to dinner and a movie.
TOYOTA...moving forward
That is one badass camper!
nice!!!!!!!! SO COOOL!. GREETINGS FROM COSTA RICA!!
Awesome set up on that Troopy and van. I'm heading up that way next spring in my FJ40, tent, and tinny with a friend and the dog. Just wish that there were those tracks in SA.
Great driving. Great trailer.
the legendary landcruiser.
Thanks for the note Lifelong Bachelor! Sure is! Enjoy your day!
the toughest 4x4 video ever with a dd vehicle !! a total beast the 76 series with the V8 diesel !!!!
I really couldn't see my Bailey Caravan surviving that, even just a small bit. Well done. Can I come next time?
