      @anikmukherjee2003 2 года назад +16

      @@ashishsingh761 because first ionizaion energy is very less compared to second Ionization energy..So it's clear that after removing an electron, it's got stable electronic configuration thats why very much energy needed to remove another electron. No if you see alkali metal, there is one electron in outer most shell to be removed. So it's clear that the element is an alkali metal or Group 1 metal...Now take any example such as Na and it's hydroxide NaOH. React it with HCl and H2SO4 respectevely.. You will get your answer..

    reason- IE2 is vv large as compared to IE1 so its an alkali metal fosho now i.e +1 valency it atains noble gas configuration so now assume any alkali metal s hydroxide lets say NaOH we write resp balanced rxns with HCL and H2SO4 and by stoichometry we get D basically its a combo of periodic table and mole concept

    • @atharvasharma-hi
      @atharvasharma-hi Год назад +4

      Dobereiner's triad is applicable to elements in corresponding groups. Also, triad elements have similar physical properties.
      C , N and O are in same row not in the same group and also their physical properties are different. Therefore they are not considered as a triad.

    I don't understand this:
    If electron affinity is negative then we are providing the energy to the atom to accept the electron
    then , doesn't ionisation energy have same definition. The amount of energy require for an atom to accept electron.
    ?????????

    • @No_name_1abcd
      @No_name_1abcd 6 месяцев назад +1

      The amount of energy required to remove an electron from an atom is ionisation energy.

    • @No_name_1abcd
      @No_name_1abcd 6 месяцев назад +1

      We cannot provide negative energy, supply of energy is always positive and hence ionisation energy and electron affinity are negative of each other but terms used are different due to supply of energy.
