It's not going away. It's here to stay. And it's been 10 years and this track still rocks. Electronic music is a human monument and we have to protect it.
This tune really hits home. It's like nostalgia for something which hasn't really even ended yet. There's not much to be proud of being British at the moment, but if there's one thing I love, it's the party scene. So vibrant and diverse. So many different scenes, genres and subcultures, but when it comes down to it there's still a unity. A unity that doesn't seem to exist in other areas of society anymore. All in one field, all in one tent, all under one roof raving. When you get older and start to travel a bit you start to realise the shortcomings of your own culture. Things you took for granted start to seem dysfunctional and backwards. But when it comes to rave culture, the session, and fuckin' 'avin it laaaaarge, no one can touch us. The old git billy boyos in the comments of the old house and trance tunes i listen to keep telling me it just ain't the same anymore, but that's bullshit. The vibe is well and truly alive, you've just gotta transcend the mainstream! Peace
