The Arcade version is for people to group up and team up to kick butt. The SNES version stands on its own since it adds a lot more and is an awesome beat-em-up. Plus facing off against Rat King, Slash, Bebop & Rocksteady is awesome.
All these old school beat em ups were so good. I love it. The Simpsons, both TMNT arcade games, X-men, the Streets Of Rage series and even Batman Returns on the SNES. ❤️👍
Raphael does the most damage because his shoulder and slide have the highest damage values but he also has the least amount of health. Donatello has a range advantage and has a dive kick thats extremely good. Michaelangelo has the most health, really good attack damage but he attacks the slowest. Leonardo is a balanced character, doesn't excel in anything but he doesn't have huge negatives either.
I always loved the hit sound in this one. Takes me back. Though for the boys in green, who gonna rock the town without being seen, to me the best was "my toes, my toes!". I yell that to this day when I do something to stub my toe(s).
The SNES version of this game is probably my most played game ever. Everything about the arcade version just seems so wrong to me, though 4 player is dope.
Use the running shoulder hit, then move forward and attack to throw. Run then jump then attack before the flip finishes to do a slide attack Attack after the flip and the shoulder attack hits harder. Hope that all helps guys. @YoVideogames
Kinda weird how they changed some bosses. I know they added the Technodrome to the SNES version, but they straight up had a giant slime boss instead of Slash..that..you know, would of made sense..even Shredder is a completely different boss.
About the only thing the arcade version had over the snes port was the four player option. Everything else about it is inferior to the snes port. Wish somebody could add a 4 player option to it.
Okay, this is the arcade version of this game. It gives you so many lives and when you lose them all you put in more coins in order to get more lives to continue. Well considering that your pressing start now to get more lives instead of spending money, can you ever game over this game unless you ACTUALLY give up?
Before this game they played the 1989 TMNT arcade game and Max said something about emulation. My guess is it was on PC and they used original Xbox controllers.
A PC emulator perhaps. In another comment someone guessed a modded Xbox, though I imagine with the right tools one could use a lot of different console controllers on PC.
*Where the fuck was Rat King? Where the fuck was the manhole in the Metalhead battle? Why the hell did Baxtert blow up instead of falling over the ledge of the bridge? Why the hell was Slash replaced by Clayface from BTAS? What happened to Tokka and Rahzar in the techno drome? My goodness, where the fuck is battletank Shredder?? I have a fever, and the only prescription is more Super shredder!!!! SNES > arcade version*
there is also a 2005 version in TMNT III:Mutant Nightmare as an unlock with 2 player mode in the PS2 version unless you have multi-tap and updated soundtrack and voices from the 2003 TMNT Series
I'm sure it is because they played the 1989 TMNT arcade game and Max said something about emulation. My guess is it was on PC and they felt using original Xbox controllers was the best choice on controllers.
Back when Konami gave a shit...those were good times...

Soundtrack still filled with bangers. Neon Night Riders
Raiden3651 i also always go back to Alley Cat Blues
Genesis version of Skull and Crossbones has DAT BASS
Raiden3651 Neon Night Riders is my personal favorite.

BIG APPLE, 3 AM
Alley Cat Blues
The BEST TMNT game of ALL time!!!!
Hell yeah
Snes version>All
Even though the Arcade game looks gorgeous and has the cheesy voice acting
Rasheed Mohammed
Without a doubt! Why hasn’t Turtles in Time been released on Steam? I’d buy it in a heartbeat!
Rasheed Mohammed mos def
The SNES version of this game is probably my most played game ever. Everything about the arcade version just seems so wrong to me, though 4 player is dope.
Can’t wait to see you guys play TMNT Shredder’s Revenge. ^^
Thank you for putting this up simmons! Loved the whole evening.
Shredder just hypnotized the turtles to make them think they traveled back in time.
Lol, wish I'd been able to catch this live. Max, you get the throws an slams by ramming the enemies and just attacking afterward.
Poor Kenny just wanted his GPS to be useful and Steeb and Simmaria just SHUT IT DOWN! 🤣🤣🤣 it was instant 🤭
Manhattan is the island where Gargoyles took place. Manhattan is also a part of New York.
Use the running shoulder hit, then move forward and attack to throw.

Attack after the flip and the shoulder attack hits harder. Hope that all helps guys. @YoVideogames
This is completely different from what I remember
Edit: oh ok the SNES and the arcade are different
Its on the SNES that they say Shell Shocked whenever they die
In the arcade, they say "Shell Shocked" when they get a Game Over
whoever player 4 was lost like 5 life's before the half way Mark of this video lol
they were called the "Quarrymen" Simmons.
Thank You!
PARTY DUDE!!!
TWENTY ONE! HUNDRED!
Max misses Marvel. Play the games you like, dood! That's what makes the stream good :)
Kinda weird how they changed some bosses. I know they added the Technodrome to the SNES version, but they straight up had a giant slime boss instead of Slash..that..you know, would of made sense..even Shredder is a completely different boss.
Yea I know, but seeing some stuff in SNES, it's weird going back to the arcade version and seeing the changes, is all.
I would love if they could bring back TMNT Turtles in Times and Tournament Fighters for PS4.
Well, guess what? Your wish came true months ago! (Cowabunga Collection)
You press forward and A for the screen toss
About the only thing the arcade version had over the snes port was the four player option. Everything else about it is inferior to the snes port. Wish somebody could add a 4 player option to it.
Also, the soundtrack is better in the arcade version
You know I will actually concede there, for the tracks shared between the snes and arcade, the arcade was better.
The arcade has pizza power
SNES has pizza power too
João Lucas i meant the actual version with lyrics
Which button is it to get more lives before the game starts?
2020 A.D. the year we got covid! Lol

What are they playing this on? Oh and the guys Simmons was talking about in Gargoyles with hammers were the Quarrymen.
Before this game they played the 1989 TMNT arcade game and Max said something about emulation. My guess is it was on PC and they used original Xbox controllers.
@@gilbertberger7234 Thanks; I'll look into that!
Yall fighting Tyler perry 🤣
Hmm... I think the SNES version is superior.
Meanwhile, 2020 irl.....
What are they playing this On? I see they're using OG Xbox. Are they playing this through Mutant Nightmare 3?
A PC emulator perhaps. In another comment someone guessed a modded Xbox, though I imagine with the right tools one could use a lot of different console controllers on PC.
how are they playing this on original xbox?

What version are they playing and on what platform that has the full voice acting and four player capabilities.
there is also a 2005 version in TMNT III:Mutant Nightmare as an unlock with 2 player mode in the PS2 version unless you have multi-tap and updated soundtrack and voices from the 2003 TMNT Series
is this emulated? i see that they have original xbox controllers but I'm kinda confused
I'm sure it is because they played the 1989 TMNT arcade game and Max said something about emulation. My guess is it was on PC and they felt using original Xbox controllers was the best choice on controllers.
@@gilbertberger7234 ahh ok that makes sense thank you
SNES Version of Bury My Shell at Wounded Knee OST is better
how did they play this 4 player on original xbox?
modded xbox with arcade emulator and roms most likely.
@@saimysilvia ahhh ok I'm going to have to check this out
Play *Streets of Rage 2* please
The snes version is better. It has more content beside having lower graphics.
