She sees something and takes off in a flash. Charging keepers after play break downs, full speed runs from standstill before it's on. Tipping balls and lay offs. She tipped a ball bound for the sideline in the last game that was borderline magical. I ask you to think of a time where you've seen a free kick intercepted and turned the other way? I never have, a flighted ball sure, not a direct pass. Everyone else was frozen in time. It's thoroughly pleasing to watch her develop and continue to get better. She continually pushes the ceiling of greatness.

I am puzzled by Press lack of reading her teammates movements. For example, around the 22:48 mark(You tube clock), Press has the ball close to middle of the field, Morgan makes a run to the right where she is going to be wide open but Press doesn't seem to see her, instead she kicks the ball to the left side where no one is remotely close to where she kicks the ball. These are things that have me wondering if Press lacks the ability to read not only whats in front of her but especally read what her teammates do in terms of making a runs like Morgan made but never got the ball? Maybe I missed something but the play was in front of her, the run morgan made was an easy read but not sure if Press even saw it? more over why she kicked the ball over to the left side? To me this was a missed opportunity because one player could not read what was in front of her as well as understand what her teammates where doing in terms of making a run. Also I do not think playing as a right forward helps the USWNT offense. I do not think that that position fits her skill set

CP23 is a world class player i have watched her since her debut with the nationl team she has earned my respect as a player and a person.

I wish they would get better announcers... these 2 cheerleaders need to be replaced. I would like to hear someone who reports what is happening. If the Ref blows a call, SAY SO... Quit knitpicking the players because their toes weren't pointed when they pirouetted. Sorry, but sports used to be about overcoming adversity and actions, not prerecorded and digitized movements. Just one of the reasons I'm getting bored with all this scientific crap they call sports these days. IMO I have to add, this referee sucks... and thank you for posting this game coconut juice x
I am puzzled by Press lack of reading her teammates movements. For example, around the 22:48 mark(You tube clock), Press has the ball close to middle of the field, Morgan makes a run to the right where she is going to be wide open but Press doesn't seem to see her, instead she kicks the ball to the left side where no one is remotely close to where she kicks the ball. These are things that have me wondering if Press lacks the ability to read not only whats in front of her but especally read what her teammates do in terms of making a runs like Morgan made but never got the ball? Maybe I missed something but the play was in front of her, the run morgan made was an easy read but not sure if Press even saw it? more over why she kicked the ball over to the left side? To me this was a missed opportunity because one player could not read what was in front of her as well as understand what her teammates where doing in terms of making a run. Also I do not think playing as a right forward helps the USWNT offense. I do not think that that position fits her skill set
