I love Spain. It is gorgeous everywere you go, full of history, incredible architecture, with amazingly friendly people and a stunning cuisine. What a country.
I have ridden all over Spain, and I can report that I've never stopped anywhere that isn't biker friendly. Great video. How can anyone give it a 'thumbs down'?
Just got back from a Hispania Tours tour of Morocco and can not speak highly enough about them. I had a bad accident in Morocco (hit by a car) and had to be hospitalized and Hispania went out of their way to help me and make sure my gear and personal bike made it back to Malaga, Spain. I was in the hospital for three weeks and they visited as best they could and called daily as the tour progressed and checked on my status. They are still storing my personal gear and bike as I heal here in Germany now 5 weeks later and have called weekly and chatted as I heal and get better... Again, glad to see them online/RUclips as they are a great group of individuals and have fantastic tours. Great video and nice to see the area I was so excited to ride after returning from Africa. Hopefully when I go to pick up the bike in June. Always quality and insightful, keep up the great work you guys do! Regards - Erik
Jamie, your camera personnel continue to get little of the credit they/he deserves. Stunning scenery well-presented (directing and editing also deserve kudos). Thumbs up! Cheers, Thomas
Awesome video Jamie. I really like your habit of showing places, people, food and culture more broadly. Bikes are the most sociable vehicles in the world.
Wooh!! mate that's my village!! El Chorro, Alora!! and all those lovely country roads and mountains, from el Torcal to Ronda and Sierra Grazalema..! I miss it too much and my XT600 from '91 amazing bike!! Now it´s London, Uk your country mate. I got a Tiger to discover all this island! :)
Hello Jamie, inspired by your video we are now in Andalusia, have visited Malaga, El Torcal and Ronda. Now I'm writing this message from Grazalema after we haven eaten some pastry from the same cake shop! Cheers & Thank you :)
Es un placer verte por nuestras carreteras...soy un seguidor tuyo aqui, en España..me encantan todos tus videos...solo una cosita...es Andalucia.....Espero verte pronto por las carreteras de Valencia..un abrazo.
Ah Jamie, I just did 4 days riding Andalucia myself with a mate - we hired a Ducati scrambler and a Yamaha XSR700. Blue skies, lovely people, gorgeous little towns and stunning roads through countless national parks. You can't miss. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
We used Motoroads and picked bikes up from a car hire place just by Malaga airport. No problems at all, bikes were in decent condition and came with top boxes, which we asked to be removed but kept the racks for our roll bags. Recommended.
Another stellar moto adventure video, Jamie! May I also add that it was an absolute pleasure to meet you in person on the Saturday of the Handbuilt show in Austin a couple of weeks ago. Sorry I interrupted your conversation with a friend, you're really good with your fans!
In part due to this video, my fiancé and I booked with Hispania for the Malaga Tour Center package next spring. As I stated below, my paternal grandparents both came from a village in the Sierra Madre and we are looking forward to exploring my roots. One week on motos and another week in a car making our way to Madrid, staying in paradores. Thanks Jaime!
Wow! Thanks for this little tour! My grandparents emigrated to Argentina from one of those Andalusian white villages, but a little further east from where you were. Been thinking about a moto tour with my fiance through there next Spring (oh! honeymoon trip!!)
Darn it Jamie! I'd just started to lose the idea of buying an 800GS next year. I think this vid might've just pushed me right over the edge here... Excelent as always!
I second that comment about Portugal. I live in the southwest. It's a great biking country BUT in Spain, you can travel for miles without seeing another car if you pick your roads carefully. It's a truly great biking country.
Nice vid as ever Jamie - looks like you were a bit unlucky with the weather? I went in mid January this year and it was 20+ degrees and blue skies all the way!! (I got lucky!)
TheMissendenFlyer Nice to see you viewing other channels. Respect for you and I watch your videos as well. You are first rate. You were one of the reasons why I picked up my new Honda CB 500X two weeks ago :) cheers
Another excellent video! Andalusia looks like a fantastic place to ride. I met a group touring Morocco with Hispania Tours while I was there last October. They were staying at the same hotel, and I chatted with the guide. Sadly I was travelling by bus :(
More a fantastic adventure, your videos are top! Once again you were near Portugal, you have to come here to visit, certainly you will not regret it !! Good curves ...
Jamie stuffing his face with pudding?? That's a new one! haha Absolutely awesome video, beautiful country and it felt like I was there with you. Cheers! :)
Great video as usual Jamie, they say the rain in Spain stays mainly on the plain, not this time unfortunately all the best from a dry for now n wales🏴🏴
Looks like you visited in the middle of winter. Never seen Ronda or Grazalema so deserted, they are normally packed with tourists. Wrong pronunciation of Grazalema. I've ridden most of those roads and they are amazing in good weather.
Jamie, I advise you to visit the Porto in Portugal !! The wine slopes of the Douro region are among the most beautiful places in the world .. Great rides
Jamie, how did you like the tires? I read elsewhere that Scorpio Trail 2 are one of the best in wet and do provide light trail riding too. Please, what is your experience?
Interesting video. What camera are you using for this? I just want to make a note to myself to avoid it like the plague! I have never seen one with such terrible rolling shutter as this. Check out the section where there is the breakfast hamper - The door frames look like they are made from rubber, absolutely terrible camera. Shame really as the colours and the imagery from it is fine, it puts together some nice looking video, but it is all ruined by that horrendous shutter effect. Good videos though, go buy a better camera and keep on making these videos, Thanks.
they are tipically in the south of spain and also in the mediterranean coast, because of the high temperatures in summer, white is colder than darker colors 👍
I am so amused to see Andalusia in Spain. What a wonderful place! Especially on a motorbike! In fact I have watched this video clip so many times And I can't help writing something About this because I like f800gs Adventure. But I am under 6feet tall So I want to buy a f800gs normal not adventure. And I am very thankful to The rider - I forget his name sorry.
My girlfriend and I are planing a raid from Spain to Hong Kong (both on the same bike) can you recommend the African twin or should I go for a bigger bike like BMW R 1250 GS
I cannot believe that some people give that video some thumbs down! They must be wanta be Harley tough guys that never go anywhere or maybe can't go anywhere cause the Feds won't give them a passport!
They are different souls, 1200 is a confortable all terrain cruiser, 800 has little manners, no hydraulic clutch, gears are shifted at higher revs, higher ground clearance and narrower center. Front is 21", it also makes a difference on road and off road. For me, the 1200 is the equivalent of a Land Cruiser while the 800 is a Hilux (Tacoma if you are from US).

WHAT a view !!! My favorite part is Ronda City ! Awesome !!!
Hello Jamie, inspired by your video we are now in Andalusia, have visited Malaga, El Torcal and Ronda. Now I'm writing this message from Grazalema after we haven eaten some pastry from the same cake shop! Cheers & Thank you :)
No wonder why half of the new motorcycle launches are set up in Spain 🇪🇸 Great roads & scenery!
I rode a motorcycle through Andalusia for 3 weeks a few years ago. Watching this brought back some great memories!
Que bonita que es mi ESPAÑA.......
¡Hermoso, increible, algun dia ire!
I already can see myself riding my F 800 GS trough these beautiful landscapes.
Ah Jamie, I just did 4 days riding Andalucia myself with a mate - we hired a Ducati scrambler and a Yamaha XSR700. Blue skies, lovely people, gorgeous little towns and stunning roads through countless national parks. You can't miss. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
david ash Do you mind me asking who you hired from? Did they come with any luggage?
We used Motoroads and picked bikes up from a car hire place just by Malaga airport. No problems at all, bikes were in decent condition and came with top boxes, which we asked to be removed but kept the racks for our roll bags. Recommended.
What a beautiful region ... thanks for taking us along!
Thanks for the great video. I followed your route and stayed at Perla Blanca for two nights, Stewart is a great host!
Another stellar moto adventure video, Jamie!
May I also add that it was an absolute pleasure to meet you in person on the Saturday of the Handbuilt show in Austin a couple of weeks ago. Sorry I interrupted your conversation with a friend, you're really good with your fans!
That's a dream trip right there. Well done.
Wow, stunning video!!! Added another location to my bucket list!
In part due to this video, my fiancé and I booked with Hispania for the Malaga Tour Center package next spring. As I stated below, my paternal grandparents both came from a village in the Sierra Madre and we are looking forward to exploring my roots. The food looked delicious, and the roads seem a joy to ride. Great video
Fantastic scenery. Great video.
Wow! Thanks for this little tour! My grandparents emigrated to Argentina from one of those Andalusian white villages, but a little further east from where you were. Been thinking about a moto tour with my fiance through there next Spring (oh! honeymoon trip!!)

Andalusia, muy bonita!
Jamie so close to Portugal, you have to try and visit Porto city and its beautiful Douro river.
Eat a francesinha and enjoy the scenary.
Cheers mate!
Jorge Reis tudo dito 😉
Fazer um roteiro do Porto até ao Douro vinhateiro iria ser espetacular 👍
I second that comment about Portugal. I live in the southwest. It's a great biking country BUT in Spain, you can travel for miles without seeing another car if you pick your roads carefully. It's a truly great biking country.

"After a somewhat weird lunch" Ha Ha You just can't be travelling!
Wonderful trip. By the way, does anyone know the reason of the color white of the villages?
they are tipically in the south of spain and also in the mediterranean coast, because of the high temperatures in summer, white is colder than darker colors 👍
All right, thank you
Also, the houses were, and still ofen are, painted with limestone diluted in water. Great natural disinfectant. Cheers!
Hi James? Do you have any vacant jobs? I could be the "do everything" guy. Lol!
I am so amused to see Andalusia in Spain. What a wonderful place! Especially on a motorbike! In fact
I have watched this video clip so many times
And I can't help writing something
About this because I like f800gs
Adventure. But I am under 6feet tall
So I want to buy a f800gs normal not adventure. And I am very thankful to
The rider - I forget his name sorry.
Love the videos, by the way it's pronounced, "Gra-sa-leh-ma"
Actually Grah-tha-leh-mah* ;)
When are you going to ride the mother of all "R 1200 BMW GS Adventure" ;)
My girlfriend and I are planing a raid from Spain to Hong Kong (both on the same bike) can you recommend the African twin or should I go for a bigger bike like BMW R 1250 GS
AndaluCia, C not S. Good video. Thanks
It´s Andalucía man ;)
I cannot believe that some people give that video some thumbs down! They must be wanta be Harley tough guys that never go anywhere or maybe can't go anywhere cause the Feds won't give them a passport!
What is the 800 gs like compared to the 1200 ?
They are different souls, 1200 is a confortable all terrain cruiser, 800 has little manners, no hydraulic clutch, gears are shifted at higher revs, higher ground clearance and narrower center. Front is 21", it also makes a difference on road and off road. For me, the 1200 is the equivalent of a Land Cruiser while the 800 is a Hilux (Tacoma if you are from US).
Jose C. ...Good analogy
Andalucía*
En inglés es Andalusia. Es como si un americano te dijera que no se dice Estados Unidos, que digas United States. Un saludo!
That new 850 engine BMW developed should sound so much more characterful. The flatness of a 360° twin can't be any more bland in twins.
Love the nicotine fingers on the baker. Ah Spain.
Next adventure philipines....
No entiendo por qué un vídeo donde hablan en inglés , le ponen subtítulos en inglés
Andalucia
Is Andalucía
Complimenti da www.robytour.it
Cr4p boring Muzak but great video
To bad the bike came with such crap tires... I just got them off my CB500X and put some Avon's on, good god what an improvement!!!
