      This is what I don't understand. To me, Freeriding means that you ride everywhere. 🤔
      But a guy in a shop said a freestyle board would be better on ice than a freeride board, because freeride boards are more for powder. 🤔
      I don't think he meant ice like this though 🤣.
      Damn, I just saw the black ice 🙈

      well as a casual I do get some small ice patches on slopes in my native snow resorts, nothing too extreme , thought it is important to know how to deal with the ice on snowboard,. thought there tend to be only small patches of white ice.
      So I suppose it's somewhat of a usefulladvice for the casuals experiencing some slopes with ice

    • @worldpeace1822
      @worldpeace1822 5 лет назад

      Grubiantoll true but the problem is that on those tracks ... turning is often necessary because either 1) there is a turn 2) there is another rider 3) there is a tree 4) there is a stone 5) there is something in the way so you can’t go straight
      Having a sharp edge and not going to fast is also an option for some better steering I believe.

      Hey Jacob - Crampons episode coming in a couple of weeks, where I go through the crampons I use and for what - whether it is a mellow day out or more serious terrain. I always use my Deeluxe Spark XV boots because they have crampon "notches" and then I have a couple of different Petzl Crampons that I use. Hope that helps. Cheers XV
