I have yet to see a replay with one of these monster CV games that actually results in a win. They put up huge numbers while the rest of the team seemingly fucks it all away. Saw a super CV game a month or so ago, they put up 500k or damn close, if I'm remembering correctly, and they still lost.
That's the nature of the game. Same in World of tanks. The highest damage games are usually people either sitting in base and turtelling when all their team has died, or pushing around the map in two circles because all other sides have died like flies. In a competent team you don't get much damage.
That's the nature of team multiplayer game. To win the game you need your team to work together. But in WoWs' case, team work is something rarely done. That's why division of friends who can work together is OP in WoWs.
Post-RTS aircraft carriers are about farming damage, not securing kills. The best asset a CV offers to a team is spotting, beyond that the CV will slowly grind down the enemy team's healthpool. Those monster games are all about farming damage.
