Great presentation mark, fantastic book. Only Elvis could pull off those stage outfits, anyone else would look silly in them. What an absolute one off Elvis was.
Hi Mark, thanks very much for going to the trouble of showing us so much of that book, very beautiful. In the early days I didn't like the jumpsuits, thought they were over the top, and heard rhat Priscilla designed them😮. Found out later that was not correct, and eventually got used to them and had a few favourites. Like you I prefer the simpler more elegant ones, and wonder if he had lived, if he would have outgrown the jumpsuits in his 40's and gone over to more conservative clothes as he matured. NOT tuxedos! But more like those early days in Las Vegas in the dark pants and shirt with a scarf. I hated that sundial suit, it made him look obese, even when he wasn't.😢
Fantastic book 📖 Mark .... Would love to own it ! But it's very hard ( impossible) to find at a decent price .... Crazy money 💰 Good indepth review 👏 🥂
Kerry- I seriously lucked out. I’ve seen a new copy on eBay for over a thousand- I paid less than a third of that. Keep looking and be patient. Good luck!
Hi Mark, I wanted to see if you have ordered the Aloha from Hawaii in the Eyes of Japan. They had an issue with printing the first run but are doing a second run and they posted a video on RUclips of the process. The Elvis Society of Japan will at this time is only printing 500 copies and I made sure to reserve my copy some months ago,
The chain suit wasn't leather, only the brown fixings for the chains were. I agree it's a nice book, but I do think the multiple text errors and questionable naming of some of the suits is pretty unforgivable for such a high-priced book
@tlo yeah, I appreciate some suits were known by more than one name, but the authors make some odd choices and often don't go for the common name that most people know a suit by. Also there are some suits missing and spelling and grammatical errors crop up on pretty much every page. You expect better from an FTD release
@@sincerelyelvispresley I do recall there was much critical discussion of this book online when it was released because of the mentioned errors. It apparently had no effect on its value to fans. It’s a nice looking release, regardless.⚡️
Hi Patricia! The only two places I know of are eBay or discogs. Unfortunately, it’s from 2011 I believe and is hard to find. Be patient, and good luck! 🍀👍🏻
Look the the picture of him in the Eskimo suit where he was sitting drinking water not that inquired abt why he looked so bad and was sitting drinking water because he got sick and did not feel well and had to lay down on the piano seat for a few minutes to get himself together because despite all his health challenges and Elvis did have 3 minor heart attacks and didn’t know it but would not cancel a show. His suits all had meanings to them most of them he drew up sketches of what he wanted because they all had a different meaning. I just watch u go through this book and criticize almost every suit he wore in his concerts?!?!??!? Elvis could wear a garbage bag and make it look great !!!!!! But u should do some research on the styles that he picked before saying I don’t like this 1 or that one….why did u buy the book ?!?!? There’s a meaning to the sundial suit also which u may want to look abt and get some facts before ur next video. There is nothing that this man could do to satisfy everyone but this is also the man that brought a 10 year old girl on stage with him and realized she was blind. He kissed a scarf and had a secret convo and the little girl asked if she could touch his face because her mother says that he was very handsome he said yea and then he told her if u really want to experience beauty touch ur own face because he told her that she was the most beautiful girl in earth. He called his doctor and he did tests and told him she needed surgery which the family couldn’t afford and paid 50,000 to a specialists and gave her the ability to see again ?!?!?!?! So before saying u don’t like certain suits not sure why u bought the book Jesus everything Elvis Presley did or wore was attacked buy ppl so I’m not surprised that he developed a drug problem because of painkillers he was on because he had a twisted colon and ultimately have to have a colostomy bag because of this genetic illness which also Lisa Marie had and went back to his parents…
A beautiful book, indeed!⚡️
Elvis really was the ultimate super-model. He made any outfit look cool, on anyone else they rarely worked.
I' my opinion, THE BEST FTD book!
Great presentation mark, fantastic book. Only Elvis could pull off those stage outfits, anyone else would look silly in them. What an absolute one off Elvis was.
Went to visit my aunt and uncle at age 5 in 1972. I remember my parents talking about Elvis being in Ft. Worth while we were there.
Isn’t it great that at that young age we can remember these memories? 👍🏻
Fantastic Inside look. Thanks so much Mark. So I have to buy it. It will be difficult. Greetings from Germany 👍
Hi mark cool book on elvis keep up cool video take care
Great vid Mark! Thanks for taking the time. 👍💯⚡️💥⚡️
Hello Mark, thank you for showing this book, absolutely amazing. Your channel is great, greetings from Europe - Silesia.

I always liked the Eagle suit. He wore it at his last performance in Memphis. Love your presentation 💖

Crazy money 💰
Good indepth review 👏 🥂
Thanks!
That’s the shame of it- I got it for a crazy good price, but it’s going for insane prices.
Hello!.. beautiful book and very very nice photo..that is beautiful piece for all collector..i have that book..❤❤
I would love to get this book my friend
Because of Elvis, jumpsuits were worn by a lot of the major acts of the early to mid 70s. Thanks for the video.
Gorgeous book. Wish I could find a copy for a reasonable price.
Kerry- I seriously lucked out. I’ve seen a new copy on eBay for over a thousand- I paid less than a third of that. Keep looking and be patient. Good luck!
Thank you for showing us this book. I have wanted the book for awhile, but it way out of my price range.

Hi Brian! I have not ordered it, but will be in the next week! It looks like a great book! 👍🏻
Hello! Where is everyone?
The chain suit wasn't leather, only the brown fixings for the chains were. I agree it's a nice book, but I do think the multiple text errors and questionable naming of some of the suits is pretty unforgivable for such a high-priced book
I am glad I was not the only one that thought there were errors. The first “Arabian Suit” looked like the Kitchen Sink Suit to me.

I picked up a couple spelling errors along the way!
@@markselvisforeveryonechann1153That's what's so surprising about this one, FTD quality control is usually first class

I don’t think I criticized everyone and I said several times how much I liked the book.
