Generation Zero. Welcome to 1980's Sweden. The local population has disappeared, and hostile machines roam the streets fight off the hostile machines solo or with a team, scavenge for weapons and loot in the fight to survive and find out what or who caused all of this.
My gameplay walkthrough will include main missions kicking some robot arse safe house unlocks collectibles skill unlocks as we try to find out what went wrong, oh and any and all goodies we come across whilst playing !

Some people still arent happy no matter what they get. These guys work hard on what they give us and its a small crew so everyone is gonna have to act like an adult and be patient.
I agree, this seems to be a very good update really and don’t get why people are complaining, yes there is no story DLC and yes there will be bugs but these are still some very good features that they are adding to game
It takes very little time for developers to add one new weapon and one new machine to the game. Players have been asking for the islands to be opened up for years now, but these developers refuse to do that and are just giving us more of the same. They've added various weapons packs and the Soviet machines in the past. Now, we get one new machine and a new weapon. This is in fact so small an addition to the game that they're not even charging for it. That should open your eyes if nothing else does. I'd gladly pay the price of the original game if only they would deliver a bonafide DLC with at least one of the islands included, but they're doing nothing of any real significance for a game which has truly epic potential.
@@manilajohn0182 yes I know but this is still the best update in like a year or so and it’s pretty much confirmed that there will never be any more islands or story added to the game so this is pretty much the best we could get

i wouldnt keep my hopes up on this, most of their updates so far are only dlcs or free update but still a dlc with it.

They can't do dlc items for the update since the exp weapon is part of a base game weapon and they don't ever plan on making exp weapons a pay to win aspect. Especially augments since augments are also a base game feature.
Human enemies would be cake
For the “don’t bully my dev team” as people, we have been asking for story dlc and them to open the island for at-least an entire year, and it’s for sure been longer than that.
Yea, they in-fact do deserve the sht they get, small dev team or not. They won’t even say anything to us about it
Idc about a new boss and gun, I genuinely dgaf. I don’t want to do stupid little check the box quests just to get some stupid gun or to be involved in some 10 minute “fight” which is really just “shoot at this bullet sponge for 10 minutes”

I don't understand why people don't got on with the Companion. I reckon that was one of the best updates to ever happen to Gen Z! In a base assault he is invaluable. Obviously, the rocket is the only useful weapon for him, and the 4* Concussive Armour, but I can get on destroying the walls from a distance, while he deals with anything that comes out to hassle me. He's not perfect for everything - I take on the Reaper from outside the range of the thermobarics anyway, so he's no use for that. If you are in a multi-battle then he's wonderful, but you do have to keep an eye on him and use the "G" button to keep him moving and get him out of the centre of the action, or he is destroyed, but the "G" button was inspired! Instead of the ten commands I envisaged, they came up with one. I was part of the research interviews on the Companion and stressed that he had to be commandable, but their solution was waaaay better than mine! The Concussive armour is some Aluminium and a bit of Plastic, so that costs nothing. I also pick him up when dealing with Firebirds as he goes down far too easily when the return fire overwhelms him. But to be able to re-amour him after a repair is a wonderful idea, as you don't need to find a Dog Station.
I now have the weird sensation when I come out of Gen Z back into the real world, I keep looking round for the Companion!
The companion got fixed or. Nerfed
The Explosive resistance has been nerfed quite a bit and it no longer becomes immune to the Thermobaric explosion from the reaper.
For that reason i just stopped using the companion because the results are extremely poor to the cost of making armor for it. I really hope they would buff all the armor types.
Tene did a comparison - 4* Concussive armour is the best all round armour and that takes a bit of aluminium and some plastic! Peanuts.

Still no experimental AI-76 Assault Rifle? I'm so sick of the freaking hunting rifles I never use the damn things. I don't use pistols much either other than the M1911 pistol, so I wouldn't mind an experimental version of that someday.
This is cool and all, but I'd like some actual *new* enemies
I think a new boss to grind is actually better then some random new enemy, Most people only grind the reaper atm so. But yeah some actual new machines would be cool like some Nato machines, i think the russian machines are supposed to have been made by the soviets coporating whit Nato but im not tottaly sure tho so
@@Wlekwwl The Soviet machines are kind of weird. They aren't friendly, but they also attack the regular machines, which I assume are east or west German
@@OPFOR_ANIMATIONS My theory/headcanon is that the soviet machines were programmed to kill anything that moves be it friendly or not
@@voldtitan1284 well in small Russian nesting dolls you can find it shows that FINX convinced some Russian commanders to betray the USSR and if do remember there was a quest where some resistance members found a soviet soldier surrounded by soviet machines and they thought he was controlling the machines but in reality, he was trapped by the hacked soviet machines and was going to try to contact the resistance members to try and get some help. (Said plan clearly did not work since he and the resistance members are found dead)
I just wish theyed fix the ps4 sayin the saves corrupted and kickin me off the game….

tyrant class machines are GZ related, but the general word tyrant is not
But there’s no real point to any of this we got all the weapons so why even do any of this honestly give us more or just honestly make a gen z 2 please this game clearly needs it with all the bugs that keep happening
The team is small. Making a whole new game will take years to do, and if they use a new updated engine, it will take time to adjust accordingly. It is just not possible for them yet.
This game has so much potential, but they just won’t do anything with it , all gaming is like this , all about microtransactions and all updates to all games are trash and no passion put into it . 2024 and there is nothing good out there . Years go by and bad boring small updates all the time . New games follow the same route = microtransactions . Unfinished games without passion . Man , gaming was good back in the day until it became about money .
Controversial opinion maybe but, i really think they should change the way they monetize the game. I think they should add a sorta ”Battle Pass” mechanic that your able to buy whit real life money instead of buying all these micro dlcs, personally im fine whit the smal dlcs its just supporting them and getting something for the game in return but alot of people in the community seems tired of this, and thats why they should add a Battle Pass where you can unlock new cosmetics, emotes, weapon/bike skins for players to buy instead of buying small dlcs here and there, and considering it cant be too hard just adding some new color options for guns and maybe like new companion skins, i think that would make them able to focus more on newer and bigger expansions like we saw whit Himfjäll
they should make the game a subscription game as well
Oh I see what we're doing here .. okay loot crate gambling and egirl ads on every wall! Maybe have Logan Paul voice a new character that follows you around and tells you to buy prime laxatives.. then, maybe have sniperwolf making a soy face center screen whenever you get shot at by a Reaver?
