Thank you so much for sharing this story! I started my Canadian Mary Kay business when I was 21 and did it very slow like you! To shy to bring it up or sell. Some parties but not a whole lot. Now I'm 30 with my first child on the way! And fear I might loose my job because my boss doesn't want me to take Maternity leave. And now I know how real Mary Kay ladies feel because I'm not scared or worried at all. I know this business works if you work hard. And the products are amazing! Anyways thank you so much again. It helps me know I'm not making the wrong decision.

I just want to share... I love love love that this can apply to ANY company or product. The network marketing companies I've been with DO HAVE assistance for how to build your business with them (after all, it makes THEM more money, too, if I'm successful)... BUT, at least one of them that I've sold for is SO GUARDED about what exactly I do and how I present their product and whether or not I can ever talk about any other brands on social media... that it feels oppressive to learn from them and follow their advice. This advice is so freeing. I can just BE ME for whatever I want to talk about... THANK YOU!

+Kay Borrero Smile at them, make good eye contact & if they smile back -Say Hi! Feel it out from there & carry samples with you always! The lipstick samples fit nicely at the end of a business card. ;) And go for the "No"s you will get them so if your expecting it, it's not as disappointing.
