Great very informative and easy talk - thank you very much! I especially liked the clear definition of Machine Learning and comparison with Statistics and Data Mining. I am teaching Machine Learning now at Boston University and plan to use some of your examples and explanations.
This is a very good introduction. I now have a better handle on this area although there will be lots of discover. I like how experience is imparted in the presentation. Many thanks for publishing this online.
Similar to independent variables i.e., if I have a simple set of data, (x1, y1), (x2,y2),...,(xn,yn) and I want to find a function f such that f(xk) = yk then you can really think of the features as independent variables, but they dislike using the term especially in classification problems.
It is quite remarkable how well you capture the key points in a very simple way. Well done and thank you!

This is first video from which I just understood what is Machine Learning. Thank You
Ron, my first real venture into understanding Machine Learning. Thank you. Love the SVM handwriting example.
This is an amazing description of machine learning. Thank you!
Thanks for uploading. I didn't think that the basketball example was silly. It was simple enough to understand.
Very cool. I especially liked the features of digit identification around 34:00

Wonderful introduction to machine learning for beginners. Really liked it. Thank you.
Machine Learning for Dummies. Great presentation and very easy to follow. Thank you.
Excellent, easy to follow and understand
Excellent intro to Machine Learning
SVM - best explanation ever!
Really a good start for machine learning, which is my interested area
Good and simple introduction to Machine Learning.
That´s a good introduction for beginners. I´ll share with my colleagues.
Excellent talk! Thank you very much!
Great talk - very easy to understand. This guy reminds me of Massimo Vignelli
Very great introduction! THX!!!
I love this guy. he's so engaging and funny.
Great overview of Machine Learning. No voodoo here!
Amazing speach and explanation, thank you so much sit!!!
A great resource for beginners
Great overview, thanks!
so simply explained, thank you
seriously wow ... what a great lecture
Excellent talk.
Good explanation for a beginner.
Really good introduction,Thank u .
really good,thanks for sharing
Very good explanation
Amazing Talk!
Support Vector Machine at 25:03 :)
Exactly what does he mean by "features"? Are they just column labels for data instances?

feature is a another word for one characterisc of an object; like weight or height are features of a man
Everyone loves SVM :)
thanks for sharing "LinkedInTechTalks"
Where's the voodoo
this guy looks like stuart from the big bang theory LOLOL
