The Cohiba is now nearly triple that price and I wouldn’t say anywhere near worth that money. Great review as always!

The review I've been waiting for. I bought 3 of each of these some time ago, along with some HDM No1's. I love this vitola, it just feels great. After just one of the Upmann's I ordered a box straight away. For all the reasons you mentioned. After this video I'm going in for the Cohiba this weekend, can't wait. Wasn't over impressed with the HDM but that's not to say it's not good, it just wasn't great. Just to say I bought 1/2 a dozen of each of the P2's and No2's off the back of one of your reviews. Keeping them for the summer. I'm a Davidoff fan big time however you're getting me into Cubans, I've always had bad experiences with the quality but its seems to be getting better. Thanks and keep up the good work!

I love the 46 and agree that Cohiba's are always better with age. Good review.

Funny anecdote about the Mag 46. I bought a box and initially I wasn't enthused. I think it was only because the aroma first reminded me of eggplant, which I abhor. First impressions can be hard to shake, but I started to doubt my conviction when I realized I was smoking my way through that box fairly fast haha. And now that I don't have them anymore, I kind of miss them. They have character and enjoying cigars are just as much about variety as finding favourites. Possibly even more I'd say.

They are both great cigars, if we take cost/value into it, Magnum 46 is a slight lean for me. Siglo IV is a go to Cohiba some size for me when I want to splurge, I prefer it to the Siglo VI. Siglo II and Medio Siglo are the others in the line I prefer. Magnum 46 def has baked goods notes it with bready nutmeg notes, I just love em. Man o man, want to smoke one of these right now!

I've developed a strong love for the Magnum Series. The 50 was my first ever cuban and I've enjoyed a fair few 46's too. I'm a fan of the Upmann blends in general but those two will are still on my Mount Rushmore of cigars, just the right amount of draw, lovely taste, decent smoke output and always seem to be a bit better constructed than most of the other cubans I've encountered.

Hey bro , ! I am from Tunisia 🇹🇳 and I follow you since few months now , and I admit that you are my favorite cigar guy on RUclips, keep up the good work bro and specially your sincere honesty. Never stop !
please can you tell me on which one of these cigars you advise me to go for to try ! ( I am a huge fan of davidoff millenium, I like the chocolatty / floral / earthiness type of cigar / not huge fan of pepper) , so theses are :
    Siglo 5 / 6
Oliva V melanio ( normal or maduro )
    Romeo y Julieta Churchill
Or if you have completely other recommendations!!!!!
    Bless you man 🤘🏻
    Thank you 🙏

Both a little out of my price range for a regular smoke, might get one for a treat. For the top brand the Cohiba's should be perfect, in presentation at the very least.

I bought one in Georgetown, Cayman Islands and paid $US30.00 for it. Kept it in my humidor until now, three years. One thing that I do taste among most of the others flavors you pick up, is minerals. I definitely taste something like minerals, almost like what you taste when you eat a piece of liver. Maybe it's closer to vitamins. I don't know exactly, but it's there. Burned a bit wonky to start, now it's corrected itself and burns just fine. It's medium strength, full-flavored and in its price range, I prefer the Davidoff Nicaragua.

love the 46/ I agree with others that cost value and the extra 2 to 3 points more the Co. gets in general scores, isn't worth the extra cost for me personally, the H. gets my vote

Macanudo Red. I know the Siglo is better, but the red is pretty damned close. When you get a fresh Siglo IV stick, it becomes a 45 minute journey from wonderful notes of grass at the outset, gradually transitioning into notes of October fireplaces, oak, coffee. great character right to the nub. Montecristo simply can't compete. The Macanudo is notorious for having been too tightly packed, inhibiting draw in some units. But I really enjoy its flavor and character. Great sessions on both sides. I'm curious what everyone else thinks.

I have smoked a box of Coro's from both EL and other factories and felt the EL version was slightly better, but they were from different years. They were all good cigars in the end, but if I'm paying the big dollars they charge for Cohibas, I try to source a box from El Laugito..
