Many of our families have been in thailand for centuries, while some may be recent but we can still identify as thai chinese because of our passed down heritage and customs :) plus, the nationalism in thailand is very strong so various ethnic groups will still identify as thai people when asked

due to history a chunk of thai people do come from Chinese descent, typically thai-Chinese people are more upper class in thailand. but either way ten and his parents both grew up in thailand i believe some or one of his grandparents were chinese, but he did have to learn mandarin for wayv and is still learning but it becomes a bit easier to learn new languages when you’ve already learned previous ones so ten is definitely talented with language learning
