- I have ridden the new yezdi scrambler for about 800 kms in a month and wanted to share my views with everyone so that people planning to buy this bike can make an informed decision.

@@amitcharul depends on the gear you are in and the speed you are riding at!
Pros:
Looks
Braking
Stable at high speed
Easy to maneuver
Cons:
Stiff suspension.
Lights are not that much bright.
Clutch is on harder side.
Engine clatters in city traffic & you have to downshift quite often.
Engine catering/knocking can be fixed by using Premium petrol of 91 octane. Rear suspensions are adjustable it becomes soft but front suspensions are hard.

if you radiator starts oftenly then you need to update your censor,, same thing happened to my jawa 42..after update all resolve
Please don't ignore nut/bolts rusting, claim replacement. You can keep spraying WD40 spray regularly to keep them from further rust.

Headlight grill costs 600 Rupees.
Wind blast is too much even if you are at 70 kmph..need to fix a good windshield.otherwise bike is awesome 👍
Well being a naked, wind blast is a given. Since u mentioned a windscreen, I have a Givi windshield. U can contact me if you are interested.

Absolutely, one of the very important factors to take ur final decision. I am getting abt 28-30kmpl with spirited riding. If u keep ur hand a little light on the throttle, u can get about 32-33kmpl

Puncture hogi to jaise normally Puncture repair hota h waise hi ho jayega iska b, koi royal enfield ki bike jisme alloys nai hote, wo sb tube wali hi Hoti h. Ya fir isme formula x dalwa skte ho jisse chote mote Puncture waise b hawa leak nai krte, sirf bade wale hi repair krwane padte h.
City me ride krne ke liye bht badiya h, sirf ek hi bada issue h, engine heating right side me.
Ab to 2sal hogye bhai.. avi v radiator fan heating issue ko manage kr pa rha h ya apne bike hi change krli?..kindly ans if u r still using it then avg consistant h na?

Sir except seat , Can i take this bike as to do touring over Adv or Himalayan??
Bro adv n Himalayan have been made specifically for touring long distances, not only are those for comfortable, u can also carry ur luggage with much more ease. Suspension travel is much more and the setup is a little softer too.
I would suggest if u r looking at touring regularly, then buy a proper adv, be it a Himalayan or Adventure but if u want to tour 300-400kms once 2-3 months, then scrambler would do the job too. It's much more fun in the city as compared to the bigger adventure or Himalayan
Yaar, how do you feel about the tyres? Considering no main stand and tube tyres, how much of hassle would this be?
Hassle in terms of? If u r talking about cleaning the chain without the main stand, obviously it takes a bit more effort, there are alternates to a main stand in the market, eg groller which works just fine.
For repairing a Puncture, it takes a lot of effort, especially if u r at an isolated spot. I have got the tubes filled with formula x but even then I carry spare tubes just in case reqd. You should be hands on with repairing a Puncture and even changing a tube and should carry the right tools with you on your ride.

Did you get any knocking issue and how we can manage heating.
What your thoughts can I buy or not?
Haven't faced any knocking issue as such. U can easily do 35kmph in the 3rd gear in city traffic without much engine noise. Heating is something that will have to live with, radiator fan keeps on running most of the time u r riding the bike and is a little loud, hence can get a little annoying at times, so you will just have to get used to it.
Take a test ride, if u get a smile bigger than what u got while test riding any other bike to test rode earlier, go for it.
If you ask me, it's a beautiful looking machine, unlike anything else in the market right now and performs good too!

Sir experience kafi acha rha h, chahe wo service centre se support ka ho chahiye wo bike ke overall experience ka ho. Bike me Power achi h but heat kafi zyada hoti h to apko Garmi me traffic me kafi uneasiness hogi n suspension thoda stiff h but ye suspension off road section me bht badiya perform krta h. Baki bike me koi pareshani nai h. Ap bilkul consider kr skte hi is budget me
I heard this bike had engine heating too much issue and i tried a test drive , the heat is too much even my feet feel it while riding please give some information about it, it'll be normal after services ?
Remaining I love the riding experience
Unfortunately the heating issue will persist. Right side gets very hot and uncomfortable especially during hot riding days and while stuck in a jam.

Nope, not at all. I have been commuting 90kms everyday atleast thrice a week for the last 1.5 months, no tiredness experienced yet.
Are u feeling minor jerks when u try to keep going on stable speed? I am having this problem specially at slow speeds
Not really! May be you want to check the fuel. Try changing the fuel station and note the difference.
I feel the jerks only at higher altitudes

Haven't ridden the rc 200 bro. But this isn't track bike for sure which RC is. And if u r looking to ride on the track and go fast and improve your skills in doing so, this is not the bike for you. This will let u go over potholes and rough patches much much faster and much more efficiently than even an RC390!

@@BotGamer-nc8vf agar city me b chlaoge kafi n daily commuter ki Tarah use Kroge to scrambler better option h, easily maneuverable h as compared to adv but garam b somehow zyada hoti h as compared to scrambler. Dono ki test ride lo ek baar, zyada ache se smjh ayega...Mera suggestion hoga ki scrambler lo, looks better and feels quicker too!

Yes absolutely, I am using it for my daily commute to office. Only issue is that it heats up a fair bit.

Shumi from powerdrift said that the bike has issues with the right turn , did you encounter such problem ?
What kind of issues sir? Haven't faced any prob yet. The only prob I encountered was when I was turning the handle to the right, RPMs used to increase, probably the throttle used to get stuck under the handle but was immediately fixed by the svc engineer once I brought it to his notice.

Aux lights price and how do they perform
Well I bought them from ebay for abt 6k INR. Build quality is excellent but the throw is just about ok, nothing too great.

Brother.. is it good for weekend touring for like 400km ?
If u r considering this for once a month weekend ride of 400 kms n rest of the days in city, this would be absolutely fine. If you want to tour regularly, then I would suggest u look at yezdi adventure

Buddy depends what do u want to do with ur bike.. if you want to tour regularly, then go for 250adv but if u want to ride in city more often and go for a long tour once in a while, then scrambler is a gud bike.

Bro both r very different machines...dominar will not be able to go off road like the scrambler will and on the other hand, dominar will be a better choice for long distance touring.

What about heating issues ?
Radiator fan kicks in bery early and stays on for a very long time but heat management is very gud, u don't feel any hot air being directed to ur legs. But the radiator fan is pretty loud so gets a little annoying sometimes.
Does it have tubeless tires???
No buddy, these are tube type rims and tyres.

@@k.s.s.9398 I have checked it with multiple people but it's not possible as it's not an aluminum rim and does not have a beading to hold a tubeless tyre. Hence I have got it filled with Formula X for now

I myself had test ridden this bike twice even in 20km speed if its 2nd gear knocking exist. In traffic one will have to shift gear to 1st.
Sir I have ridden the bike for 6k kms now, yes knocking exists but not to the extent that you are mentioning. You don't have to shift down to 1st gear everytime you are in traffic. It all depends on where do u keep ur RPMs.
@@tigeronwheels1441 my experience was in offroad with potholes. Might be possible that it doesn't knock in normal plain road in 2nd gear. However I like looks and fun feel factor of this bike and its in my shortlist with vstrom 250.
O yes, in off road sections u will have to keep it in the first gear just because u don't have the roads to increase ur throttle input and hence increase the speed.
Haven't ridden the vstrom250, so can't comment on that.

Rusting in 1 month is really a deal breaker, it shows the quality of metal used and off-road bikes needs to be rust proof as it tends to be covered in mud and dirt most of the time.
Isse phele cycle Chalata tha kya.
Totally depends on an individual if rusting is a deal breaker for him or her or not. Once you start enjoying that engine, and the way this bike performs both on and off road, atleast for me, the rusting takes a back seat.

How was the heating issue after riding for more than 100-150 kms given that the engine heats up quickly?
Also, how fast it can go with less stress on the engine?
Yes the engine heats up a lot and tge radiator fans keeps on running for long periods. If u r on the move, u won't feel much but if u r stuck in a jam during summers, it will get a little uncomfortable and some of hot air is thrown on ur legs.

When I opened the seat it was not there.

It is suitable for city ride? Or heating issue over loaded?
I have done about 1100 kms so far, all in the city...no issues whatsoever. Engine does up quite a bit and the radiator fans also keeps on running for a long time but u don't feel a lot of heat on ur legs, heat management is pretty good

@@koushikmandal8445 I am sure it can be installed but Yezdi doesn't provide one, neither stock, nor in the accessory list. I guess a lot of third party accessory manufacturers like zana or adv tribe etc might come up with one very soon since the bike is gaining a lot of popularity

3rd time fer timing chain ki dikkat aa gai or bike out of warranty hai

Sir if u r consistently doing long rides, then scrambler isn't the right bike for you, that's what I have mentioned in the review too. In that case you should look at either yezdi adventure or Himalayan or 390adv
@@tigeronwheels1441 yezdi adventure more risky ...all yezdi versions including touring have the same problem...anyways its a eye wash its all the same engine. I know what i am talking about ..I have done complete all india tour. Take my advice sell this vehicle the first chance u get.

I own a Triumph tiger800 as well and have ridden throughout the country and to other countries too so even I an aware of what I have bought. I appreciate your concern, but it's totally upto you whether you like a particular bike or not. I have just tried to convey what I have felt after a 1 month ownership of the bike.
