@@GalaxyUnravel thanks. So, on ports like 587, 465 or 2525, we build on eg our homes MSAs, submission agents like Microsoft Exchange or Linux Postfix, and from there, I mean from the MSA program/utility, and if the mail has target out of our domain, it is delivered to the Mail Relay Agent (MRA), and then, MRA makes the whole delivery job. We, simple people, cannot create MRAs. MRAs are huge Mail Service Providers (eg Google) like ISPs, that have big computers and programs on them, with parameters on them for safe mail delivery. Is all that I say correct? Have I understood well?

If I build a local mail server, why is port 25 locked from most ISPs (if not all)? What does it mean lock 25 port?
Port 25 is no longer used by most ISPs as it was used to send flood of messages. You can use 586, 465 or 2525 because of security
@@GalaxyUnravel thanks for answering. If I build a "mail server" on a PC on my home, I will build a MSA or a MRA?
