Bought the older version with grey spring. Im using it for more than one year ,heavy usage,no major damage. Bought another one with orange spring, slightly a bit soft on the plastic parts
Well done video, sir. You seem to be a natural host. I just bought the Hobao Hyper roller and delivery is TODAY. Can't wait to dive in & check the quality & start installing electronics. I think Hobao is an underdog in the RC world.
Nice Truck. I have the same. You can use the Proline Badlands without the extendet hex. You should change the Wing with the Wing from the Arrma Kraton or Talion. The Hobao Wing brake very easy. All the best from Germany
You'll break the rear wing straight away mate! They just snap. I put an arrma talion wing on mine and a arrma Kraton 6s wheelie bar fits nicely 👌🏻 Also I've shimmed behind the bearings on the rear hubs to get rid of some slop. I don't bash mine anymore it's a speed runner now. Brilliant cars! I'd buy another tomorrow! Nice video mate 👍🏻
That’s a nice looking truggy! I do like Hobao. I’ve only had a 1/8 buggy from them I think it was the VSe. I’d like to try this truggy or one of their monster trucks like the sport plus
Hey! How did you fit the shock caps ? The stock screw is too long and doesn’t let the retainer screw to completely screw in from the front. Please help!
Hey man what would you say is a tougher car the kraton or this I have a k6 but I have a chance to get this as a roller and I really think it’s a beautiful truggy but I’m all about durability
Well.... I don’t think you can beat the Kraton for durability. My exb has been a tank. The SSTE is built very well but I don’t drive it as hard as I do the exb. These rcs were built for racing, and not high flying bashing.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogsdon’t you also have m2c racing parts on your kraton ? That would explain the toughness …with the added 7075 chassis and towers and braces this thing is more durable the diffs are amazing as well all know arrma diffs are made of cheese
I quite like the Hyper SSTE trucks, would you say it's a decent truck to get in stock form as i don't want to upgrade really. I don't do stunts or heavy bashing, more fast hooning around on flatish grass & car park areas. Stay safe.
Hi Jason, which RC car is currently the best stock basher (RTR or kit) for you regardless of price. Size at least 1:8. Thanks in advance. By the way great channel and very informative videos. Many greetings Tino
Those springs look beefy!! Shocks as well . I would like to know if that's a higher gage wire than Maxx shocks. If the bore is similar maybe l could get my Maxx from bottoming out so hard in ass end.
I have a Habao buggy I picked up used. I have no idea which model it is. Your truggy would be wider than the buggy correct? Great video. Can’t wait to see what you do next
I have an SSE buggy these things are so underrated they should be just as popular as Traxxas and arrma they're badass
It could be good and Nice of you
Legit the ultimate BASHER!

Yeah injqve read that about the wing a few times. I was thinking of boiling the wing before my first real run and see if that helps.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs i just bought some cheap 1:8 wings from china. They work great and don't break.

I have the vs too. This is pretty much just a longer and wider vs.
Looking even better Jason 👍👍
Happy with my Hobao SSTE. Check out the upgrades we offer for this truggy.
Dude that thing is badass.
that thing looks like its put together better than my arrma rigs in some ways might have to snag one of these
Nice truggy! I run a VSE. Do you have a link to those upgraded shock standoffs, or the option part number? Thanks 👍👍

Hi Jason, may i get the part number for the differential gear upgrade? In manual, none mentioned..only have crown bevel upgrade

Hello, Jason! How you fix the problem with wheel hub adaptor and the wheel?
Hi :) great video ..enjoy watching how you upgrade your truggy ..I was wondering ..did you put the 8mm wheel hubs on the rear of truggy also ?
Are the lightweight Shocktowers more stable like the stock Towers? Are they 7075 allu?
Nice car, i love hobao 👍
Can you provide name of this tires or link pls
Great Work nice Car 🤩🤩
Helló. The op-0002 Where did you order it? Thanx.

I've never had a single pivot ball shock mounting system pop off in almost 20 years of rc bashing.
Same. I actually have the SSTe and no problems with the shocks so far.
@@PaddyPatrone Same here 🤷🏻♂️
What offset wheels does the truggy take?
Ce sont les pneus du arrma kraton ?

The truggy is like a longer and wider buggy with bigger wheels and a diffrent body.
Did you put the hex extenders on all 4 corners?
Can u put up a like to the hex extenders please
My mugen, the top front hinge pins go into a plastic pill.
I have found with this model unlike the hyper 7 where thay pop of this one u will brake the lower arm before thay pop of i have never pop my shocks
what are the yellow wheels&tires in the back ground?
There Hoban wheels and tires. Don’t know the name.
Speed test it thats nice
Look like my Maverick Quantum Xt
