Thanks for the heads-up. You saved me some time. The headline was highly suspect since neither athlete ran the 200m in the diamond league final, so went to comments section before watching the video. Thanks, I wish more you-tubers were considerate enough to warn others of click-bait bs videos.
I totally agree with you, Its like they're hating on Julian Alfred. Come on, just enjoy everyone's success and stop trying to bring down other athletes.
Hello @bernardodanga3998! Loyalty is a great attribute, but reality and facts, combined, will trump "what-ifs" and supposition, all the time. The gold medal, in any sport, is awarded to the athlete who gives the best performance in the finals of that event, on that given day. In the 220m Final of the Paris Olympics, Ms. Thomas gave the best performance. It does not matter if someone else beat that gold medal winner in every 200m race that year, the medal goes to the winner of the Olympic 200m final. If we look at it from your point of view, then we can say that, in the presence of Ms. Fraser-Pryce, Ms. Herah, even Evelyn Ashford, Ms. Thomas would not have won. So, why did Shericka Jackson not participate? According to reports, she had an achilles tendon injury. If she had run with the injury, would she have beaten Gabrielle Thomas? I think that it's unlikely. If you have ever had an achilles tendon injury, you would understand why. We have every right to empathize with the injured athletes who were unable to participate, but let us not take away from that which the winner accomplished. GOE
Lol, what was Gabby suppose to do, not run because Sherika Jackson wasn't there. What you believe doesn't matter, what matters is what's done on the track.
@@Xx-po1fu What Gabby did was great.all I said was she took her opportunities well.Whether she won in the presence of sherika Jackson is a matter of conjecture as she was her greatest competitor
Reporters should refrain from being boastful and arrogant. Julien is a 100m sprinter and not so much on 200m. The title in this video is uncalled for.
Stay humble and beautiful, Gabby, and win as many golds as you can!

Congratulations Gabby! Representing USA 🎉🎉
Allyson Felix also won 3 gold medals in one olympics ( London 2012 )

They shorted Tamari Davis in the 4x100 m prelims...SMH.
Juiced up women.
I am sorry to say that Gabby is no where to break WR.
No me neither
Nobody else is either. Nothing to be sad about.
Click bait? Infomercial? 10 seconds was too long
I hate this stupid title on these Track videos. It is ignorant and silly

Took advantage of absence of sherika jackson.i believe in presence of sherika that 200m gold would not be achievable

@bernardodanga3998 that's ridiculous. She faced so was in front of her. Nobody cares about hypotheticals. Shericka should've been there to compete.
not yet in the class of S Jackson at 200m. She is very, very good, but SJ is the best ever at 200m, even more so that FloJo
She's not even close to Veronica cambell-brown or merriment otter or grace Jackson or Valerie brico-hooks,or carmarlita jetter or all Felix
OR THE GREAT EVELYN ASHFORD 5 OLYMPIC TEAMS,1976 80,84,88 92 FACTS DO THE RESEARCH
Flo Jo's record says otherwise. That's a fact.
