The Changan Qiyuan A07 all-electric sedan has made its debut in the market, boasting an impressive 1,200 km range and an enticing starting price of 21,300 USD. This sleek vehicle showcases a fastback design, with a unique feature that allows the trunk lid to be opened in unison with the rear window glass. It rides on stylish five-spoke rims and comes with a choice of 225/55 R18 or 245/45 R19 tires, depending on the configuration. The addition of hidden door handles adds to its sporty appeal.
Built on Changan's EPA1 platform, the Qiyuan A07 falls into the medium-to-large sedan category. Its dimensions measure 4905mm in length, 1910mm in width, and 1480mm in height, with a generous wheelbase of 2900mm. As mentioned earlier, the car sports a striking fastback design, allowing for the unique trunk and rear window arrangement.
Changan offers the A07 in both hybrid and all-electric versions. The hybrid variant combines a 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine, producing 95 hp, with a robust 215 hp electric motor. In contrast, the all-electric version packs a powerful 258 hp motor for a truly electrifying driving experience.
