No it’s because when gray healed Fortergreen in the alternative he knew if he got hurt he could use him then kill him and in the regular he knew he was important to the other crew so he use him to get away but failed

(This would later be found out by the Crewmates but they will let him stick around because Red literally risked his life for them)
