Just loved listening to this. Brilliantly told tales of history undertaken by Mr Croce and it was nice to hear Mrs Croce singing too.

The vocals sound like Jim was singing in a boxcar. Maybe that was the point. It gives his voice a mystical quality. But, as we found out, he sounded much better later on. The voice was out front front and handling more complex song arrangements. These songs here are the incarnation of what was to come.
